Dragdriver, Luard
Not hype. G4 Luard's skill is Ritual-based, needing 3
dead Grade 1s. You Soulblast 1 and flip a G Zone card
when placed on VG circle to call Grade 1s equal to the
number of face-up Dragdriver Luard in your G Zone, then
they gain 1000 power for every dead Grade 1 until end of
turn.
So really, you're looking at a minimum of 4k base power
for each call (because I'm assuming you're going to
Soulblast the Grade 1 for this first) for 1 call, then
stack it up as you go along. That's nice. Unfortunately,
because it's Ritual required, you're almost never going
to use it as a first Stride unless you take some frankly
unwanted and unneeded liberties with the deck. It's
going to be used as a second Stride, and by that point
you have Phantom Blaster Diablo, or SPECTRAL Blaster
Diablo (who frankly thanks to G3 Luard incurs the same
plusses and minuses to you as though you had a Diablo
heart), so as a finisher you're pretty wanting. They
make okay flip targets for Spectral Blaster though I
suppose?
I don't want to assume my field sucks so badly I need to
go mass-call with this unless it's to recharge from a
Spectral or Phantom Blaster. Even then, I'd still use
either of them again rather than use this.
