Wings of Recurrence, Blade Wing Reijy
So the intent is to soldier on with GBT07 while Bermuda
Triangle support is still over the horizon, so let's get
to it with Blade Wing Reijy: another one. On attack, if
the original Blade Wing Reijy is in the soul, you can
soulblast 15 cards to give him 15k power and 2 critical
until end of battle. His second skill activates when
he's in the soul and you have a Grade 3 Blade Wing
Vanguard which isn't another Wings of Recurrence Reijy.
You CB1 and discard 3 cards to ride him from the soul if
your first Vanguard attack did not hit.
First skill: I'm not going to be the guy who complains
about having to drop 15 soul to use because it's
obviously meant to be a last-turn gambit. Having said
that, that's a lot of cards to give up just to be met
with a Perfect Guard to the face. His second skill is
the selling point of the deck, and unfortunately, it's a
bit iffy. If you're going to load fifteen cards in the
soul, fair enough, you've got a good chance of getting
him in the soul by accident, but overall, I'm not
impressed by the fact that you have to start with your
low-power Grade 3 before you can drop this.
Tibold and the other G Units requiring a 15 soul
threshold is basically the only reason to run this at
all. Without Stride, he's a shit first Ride. But eh,
he's another source of soft advantage for Dark
irregulars and the only re-standing option they have, so
sure, why not.

[Wings of Recurrence, Blade Wing
Reijy]
More Reijy support, because Bushiroad likes diving into
the past. The first effect demands a PG from the
opponent. If you had to ride into New Reijy and not the
other Blade Wings, just using this effect to force a PG
isn't the most optimal, because you'd have to spend time
building up your soul again. Considering the ease in
which Blade Wings soulcharge now, it wouldn't be that
hard though.
New Reijy's second effect is where
all the hype is. DI has a restander now, and he presents
the opponent with the same fork in the road as
Eradicator, Dragonic Descendant does: no-guard your
Vanguard and hope you don't check crits, or guard the
first attack and have to deal with the restand+crit.
They're forced to take the second option though if
you're sitting on original Reijy with his own +2 crit,
so you're gonna be forcing cards out of your
opponent's hands regardless at that point.
Note: you have to be on a grade 3
to reride New Reijy from the soul. No reriding off of
Tibold or Gilles de Rais.
All in all, you want to pay
attention to your opponent. If you notice them not drive
checking PGs, go in with New Reijy's effects. Otherwise,
fall back on your Tibolds and Gilles de Rais. Having
more than one finishing play is definitely a plus
though.
