[CONT](VC) Generation Break 2:While you are paying the cost for Stride, you may have the cards you discard from hand get grade +3. If you do, bind those cards face up.
[AUTO]:[Choose a card from your hand, and bind it face up] When this unit is placed on (VC), you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your opponent's rear-guards. Your opponent returns that unit to his or her deck, searches his or her deck for up to one card with grade -2 than that unit, calls it to (RC), and shuffles his or her deck. (Your opponent can choose not to find a card if there is none he or she wishes to call)

Chronofang Tiger
What's the deal with the Tiger vs Dragon motif. Anyway,
Chronofang Tiger. His GB2 skill allows every card in
your hand to gain +3 Grade for Stride fuel. However,
should you discard a card whose Grade increased with
this skill, the dicarded card is sent to the bind zone
instead. His On-ride skill binds a card from the hand as
a cost. Then you choose an enemy rear-guard, the
opponent sends it to the deck, calls a unit from the
deck 2 Grades lower than that unit, and shuffles the
deck.
His on ride skill isn't particularly impressive, but
given it's Counterblast free, I don't expect it to be
good. You're basically either going 1:1 by sniping a
booster, or you're turning a Grade 2 into a weak booster
(which I don't recommend given the number of triggers
with skills kicking about).
You're mostly going to be using him for the second
skill, which ensures basically no bad hand situations
ever. Something quick like Warp Drive Dragon can put him
up to GB2 quickly enough, and after that, his bind skill
can help fuel Bind-Time Dragon, who's supposed to be the
be-all end all result...unless you still have Ragnaclock
or something.
Not really impressive compared to Chronojet for now, but
you know he'll get support later to make him amazing.
Get some because he should age decently well.

[Chronofang Tiger]
Because Blaster Dark Diablo wasn't
going to be the only stride boss that could gurantee a
Stride turn. But unlike Diablo, on trigger simply by
itself is good enough to stride with.
Once you hit Gen Break 2, you want
to stride with a grade 2 or less that has a function
while in the bind zone, but naturally just ditch
whatever in a pinch.
His on-ride is nice, since you
basically spin a Grade 1 or 0 and they don't get it
back, due to their not being negative grades in the game
(yet). Using Chronofang's effect on a Grade 2 isn't the
best, because there are a healthy amount of triggers
they could call to set up another play, even if it's
just any Stride Boss's crit, like Heart Thump Worker.
In the end though, Chronofang's
potency is wholly attached to whatever Strides are
available to him. He's gonna need a bit more than Bind
Time Dragon, but with the way Bushiroad designs support,
it's very likely Chronofang (or the Gear Beast race) is
gonna be handed silly support in the future. For the
optimists and the curious, grab your Chronofangs now and
sit on them.
