One who Views the Planets, Globe Magus
Got a request in an email I once got to review this, so
why not. I can't think of much better to do this week.
Globe Magus needs a Magus heart, but with her ability,
as often as you want, and whenever you want, you can
look at the top card of your deck.
Neat, I guess. It's mostly for the benefit of your own
rear-guards to gain power and what have you, since this
won't generate any new advantage in its own right. I
know that if the opponent 2-to-passes this, you can
reveal a trigger, scry the top card and decide where to
assign effects, but to be honest it's not a move to rely
on when fighting a rational opponent, as they'll usually
just let it through or drop a Perfect guard in her face
because they know her skill. I'm not entirely fond of
such dependency on a perfect formation to get going.
Obvious 4-of staple for Magus at any rate. Pity the
entire deck dies to field-fuck.
