Demon Sea Queen, Maread

So soldiering on with Fighter's Collection since GBT07 is still a speck on the horizon, we kick off the week with the G Unit Granblue likes, but doesn't really need. Maread, once per turn, Counterblasts 1, flips a G Zone card and discards one from the hand, then for every face-up Maread in the G Zone, call that many units from the drop zone to RG circle. Then Maread gains power equal to the power of all the units called by this skill.

Well, for a first Stride, this is basically your unit gaining a bit of power for a CB1 and a +0 wash. Not looking good so far. It's only on the second Stride that things get a bit serious. You can revive three units to trigger their Hollow skills for a -1 to you and CB1. Efficient enough I suppose.

Sadly, unlike G4 Nightrose, there is no option to chain revives for attacks, which is pretty much the only source of soft advantage in Granblue. That alone puts it behind.

Doesn't solve the problem of G Granblue needing a good finisher but still not horrible. Just average.

 2.5/5
