Blazing Sword, Fides
We apologise for the inconvenience. Here's something
with substance (did you know the boss wanted use to
review Darkside Sword Master? Come on). Fides is the
newest Royal G Unit. His ACT skill flips a card in the G
Zone face-up and discards a card once a turn, then you
call a Grade 2 from the deck. If it has Brave, you draw
a card. Then Fides gains a GB3 Brave skill: on-attack,
if you have a Fides face-up in the G Zone, you retire
one of the opponent's rear-guards and then two of your
units gain 5k until end of turn.
So as long as you call something with Brave, usually
something like Escort Eagle then you're gaining GB2
early and a +1 wash, because when are you going to +0
wash unless for whatever goddamn reason Brave still
isn't live? His GB3 is where it's most interesting. As
far as second Strides go, this over something like
Transcending Altmile...yeah, you can tell this isn't
supposed to be as good. As much as blowing up a problem
card is good, it's a bit too late in the game: it's had
all this time to bollock you, not to mention using
Transcending to get another attack in, calling over a RG
is worth more than a straight +1 to you, even if both
skills are free.
Nonetheless, given that Aerial Altmile is almost always
going to come first and you're going to run 3-4 of it
anyway, finding room for 2 of this isn't hard and it's
options I guess.
