Magia-[AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (GC), if you have a vanguard with the magia ability, this unit gets [Shield]+5000 until end of that battle, choose up to one card from your soul, call it to (RC), and at the end of that turn, put the unit called with this effect into your soul. Not generic. Ew. When used to defend, and your Vanguard
has the Magia skill, she gains 5k shield, then you can
call a unit to RG circle from the soul until end of
turn, then it goes back in. If the VG does not have
Magia, you Soulcharge 3 instead.
Okay, the whole point of this is to call a spare Grade 2
from the soul to intercept to make this worth 25k
shield, but at least in Magia even without the call it's
a free 20k shield, so it's at least a 2-of with the
other G Guardian. Apart from that, lacks the all-round
usefulness of Furnival, but as this isn't any shield
higher than Furnival without Magia you aren't missing
out on a lot either way.
She's alright, but not great.

All signs point to Magia, I suppose. If you're sitting
on a Magia vanguard, you can call out a Grade 2 with
this G-Guard for an extra intercept, which you might
need if you're resorting to this G-Guard in the first
place. Bushi tried to compensate non-Magia decks by
letting you soulcharge 3, but considering Chainsaw
Megatrick, Furnival selectively gives you want you want
in the soul, the random three soulcharge could bite you
in the ass. So, in your Nightmare Dolls and Silver
Thorns, you might as well stick to your 3-4 Furnival
G-Guards. Haven't quite looked at the rest of the Pale
Moon pool, but be on the lookout for any unit that could
give power to your vanguard on your opponent's turn if
it is called out via Maja.
Run 2 in Magia.dek because the only thing that'll screw
with this G-Guard is Lawless Mutant Deity.
