Holy Dragon, Luminous Hope Dragon
Hello everyone. Easter approaches, and so the boss has
decreed that Good Friday be review-less. So the first of
four cards this week is Luminous Hope Dragon. Once per
turn, you can flip a G-Zone card, then for every
Luminous Hope in your G-Zone face-up, the Vanguard gains
10k and your rear-guards gain 1k. His second skill is a
Brave skill activating on attack: call a Grade 2 if you
have two things with Brave in the G-Zone face-up, and
gain +1 Critical as well if there's three.
This is a pretty terrible first Stride, which is
annoying as it has to be to get the most mileage out.
Your rear-guard columns need to be 19k to kiss the sweet
21k mark, which admittedly in Brave isn't difficult, but
needs something specific to keep hand low so it's
present all the time. On one hand, this works as a
stand-alone in case the field just got compromised via
Link Joker or something as he's Counterblast-free and
gains Critical without the Saint Blow Dragon weakness of
needing a field, but in all honesty for his timing,
Transcending Altmile and even things like Clotenus are
better plays.
Only useful if you need a big meaty, Critical+ Vanguard
for clutch, but almost every big G-Unit will be better.
At least he's easy to play.
