(When this card strides, it gains the power and card name of one heart. At the end of the turn, return it face up)
[AUTO](VC):[Soul Blast (1)] When this unit attacks, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose any number of cards from your hand, bind them face down, choose one of your rear-guards, and it gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn. At the end of that turn, put the cards bound with this effect into your hand.

The main draw
of the Trial Decks. Selfes, when he attacks, Soulblasts
1 to bind as many cards in your hand face-down, then one
of your units gains 5k until end of turn, upon which
your bound cards bounce back to the hand.
Well,
obviously since the deck and Altmile in general centres
around Brave, this is how you get most of them online
without worrying about minusing yourself
unnecessarily. Or at least that's the idea, since any Brave ability that
doesn't work during your Battle Phase is a no-go, which
sucks.
So he's okay,
and he fuels the main gambit, but I'm not sold when you
have better leads such as Aerial Altmile so he can
eventually jump to Transcending and then whatever else
comes after, because paying Soulblast 1 to force another
5k shield and not a whole lot else seems a bit iffy. And
you're not dedicating the whole thing to Brave, just
cherry picking the better ones, since Knight of Twin
Sword is as far as I know still staple.

[Divine Knight of Lore, Selfes]
Brave.dek's newest go-to utility first Stride. Usually
when you're playing the Brave deck, Brave just naturally
happens when you're ditching for Stride costs and
calling a board, but Selfes ensures you can spam your
board and be able to trigger Soniccgal/Support Sorcerer
of Damascus reliably. Which honestly really helps their
viability, to be honest.
Yep, he's one of the best utility Strides coming to us
this year. 1 or 2 copies is fine.
