Vampire
Princess of Starlight, Nightrose
New Nightrose! And this one gets a free pass because of
the myriad of good first Strides for this. Sort of. New
Nightrose has Hollow. No other skill tied TO Hollow, but
hey, keyword. Second GB2 skill is good on both VG AND RG
circle: when a unit revives from the drop, Soulblast 1
to call a Grade 1 to the same column as Nightrose...just
not OVER Nightrose. Her Stride skill Counterblasts 1 and
mills up to 3 to revive a unit. If it has Hollow, it
gains 3k until end of turn.
Okay as far as fail-con rides go, this isn't horrible. She'd get a
less favourable score if her Stride skill milled a
straight three, but you get to choose how expensive it
should be, so you're not losing anything. With that
said, people will probably still prefer the original
Nightrose, largely because of how the GB2 has so many
combos, both offensively and defensively, like
doubled-up Grenache, defensive Mick, etc. But this is
still a very nice compliment to the old Nightose for
multi-attack purposes (looking at you Phantasm Nightrose)
or just extra field filling.
Very cool. Not sure what else you want me to say about a good card
for a good deck.
