Blaster Blade Exceed
Just in time for the June meta, we have new Royal
Paladin toys! Beginning with Blaster Blade Exceed, who
can retire a Grade 1 or above RG when ridden or called.
And when you Stride a Saver G-Unit, you CB1 to add a
Blaster Blade card to your hand from the deck.
Well, primarily, you're using it for the name and the
combos it unlocks rather than for the skill. Recycling
itself and adding more Stride fodder (as in more Exceed)
for CB1 is nice and all, but it's going to burn through
your damage quite fast, especially given how Llew and
Floral Flogal already burnt through enough. The on-play
skill is something that you're probably never going to
use unless something urgently needs to die before you
start the attack. With that said, it's simple enough to
use and has relevance outside of Stride regardless.
Not flashy but making him more complicated would mean
easier cockblocking. Just take what he is and wait for
the Blaster support coming in...September? JESUS.

Blaster Blade Exceed
Ah, Blaster Blade. Ever since the beginning of vanguard
we've seen this card come back over and over again,
whether in a new form or with a fresh support. The new
Legend Deck, though, finallly gives Blaster Blade an
entire deck dedicated to itself, and what better way to
do that than with a new Grade 3 that tailors entirely to
BB
His 2 skills are both pretty solid; being able to retire
units when placed is nice, especially with how wide the
range of what you can hit is. And with the new Saver
units coming like Gancelot and Alfred, the ability to
search out Blaster Blade of any variety is a good
support skill (though Favored Pupil Llew is a better
choice, usually) Overall it helps smooth out the Blaster
Blade deck, and that's not even mentioning his synergy
with Alfred Saver (we'll get to him). hopefully he
proves strong enough to edge out Sanctuary Guard Dragon
in dedicated Blaster decks (if only.)
