Melody is a typical pre-teen or teen girl and has little faith in the traditional legend festival that takes place on Shamouti Island every year, however, she must act in it. She isn’t shy about telling people what she thinks and spends most of the first part of the movie bugging Misty about having a secret crush on Ash.
