Dogmatikamatrix – #PHHY-EN055
When this card is activated: You can add 1 “Dogmatika” Ritual Monster or 1 “Dogmatika” Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand, then if your opponent controls a monster, you can add 1 “Dogmatika” card from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, if you control a “Dogmatika” Ritual Monster: You can look at either player’s Extra Deck, and send 1 monster from it to the GY. You can only activate 1 “Dogmatikamatrix” per turn.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Dogmatikamatrix is Preparation of Rites for Dogmatika.
While it is a Continuous Spell, Dogmatikamatrix is, as previously mentioned, Preparation of Rites for Dogmatika. Search a Dogmatika Ritual Spell or Monster when you activate this card. Even if destroyed it will get you your choice of ritual piece. If you play this while your opponent has a monster you get another addition from the Deck to the hand: any Dogmatika card of your choosing. Not having to be an Extra Deck monster your opponent controls as the requirement strays from the Dogmatika theme, however it is appreciated because this covers all bases. Play this while your opponent has any monster and you get your Dogmatika Ritual piece as well as a Dogmatika card of your choice (likely monster to help with the Ritual Summon).
Now onto the Continuous Spell part: each turn that you have your Dogmatika Ritual Monster you get to Foolish Burial something in their Extra Deck to the grave. There’s the Extra Deck hate we were expecting. First turn of the game this can be incredible: get a look at what your opponent is playing and get rid of a valuable piece. Sure, they may be able to use it in the grave depending on the archetype, however there are archetypes that this rips apart like Sky Striker. Against something where sending an Extra Deck monster to the grave helps them (like Albaz) would not be ideal, and more monsters are doing that kind of thing now, but there are still pieces that players then are without and not everyone still runs Monster Reborn. Burying a Trishula or Black Rose Dragon to eliminate their Synchro Summon effect is a nice effect in my book, but it’s also the intel that can be learned through this effect.
Dogmatikamatrix can get you both your Ritual Spell and Ritual Monster as long as you play it while your opponent has a monster on the field. It has the capabilities to do more, but only with your specific Ritual Monster. Great early on, less effective as the game progresses and considering the Ritual Monster has 4000/4000 stats I’m not sure how long the game will last anyways.

We look at what the Dogmatika Nation is up to today and tomorrow by starting with a new Continuous Spell to boost their Ritual stuff up a notch: Dogmatikamatrix.
Dogmatikamatrix is a Continuous Spell that when activated lets you add any Dogmatika Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand, then if your opponent controls a monster, you can add a Dogmatika card from your Deck to your hand. Nice effect to help setup a Ritual Summon by getting one of the pieces needed for it, and it can even grab the second piece needed if your opponent already has a monster on board. Even if you already had the second piece, however, you can search for something else like Ecclesia, Fleurdelis, Maximus, or Punishment for whatever else you might need for your setup. The second effect is a soft once per turn you can trigger if you control a Dogmatika Ritual Monster, letting you look at either Extra Deck to send a monster from it to the graveyard. Nice to dump your monsters for something like a search/summon off Titaniklad, a pop off of N’tss, or a Ritual search with Arc Light. You could also look at the opponent’s Extra Deck to take out an important utility tool from it, which is nice. You can only activate 1 of these a turn, so you can’t get too much searching, but overall we got a really good support piece for Ritual Dogmatika. It makes that version of the strategy far more consistent and it helps clean out Extra Decks even more as well. Certainly a card to run for Dogmatika Ritual variants.

Dogmatika gets yet another boost with Dogmatikamatrix, a Continuous Spell that can accordingly be searched by Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous and can only be activated once per turn. On activation, you can search any Dogmatika Ritual monster or Ritual Spell, making it a huge boost in consistency for Ritual builds. As a bonus, if your opponent happens to control a monster, you can search any Dogmatika card as well, though this generally won’t come up on turn 1 unless your opponent is playing the right monsters for it. All of Dogmatika’s Ritual bosses have their uses, especially their new boss that we’re covering very soon. You can’t go wrong with either Dogmatikalamity or Dogmatikamacabre, though the former will probably be easier to use thanks to its Extra Deck dumping effect. Dogmatikamatrix’s other effect is a soft once per turn (though the odds of fielding multiples are frankly low), letting you send a monster from either player’s Extra Deck to the Graveyard as long as you control a Dogmatika Ritual monster. Both applications of this effect are excellent; for yourself, you can send an Albaz Fusion for follow up and additional plays; Titaniklad the Ash Dragon is always a solid choice, but as with many things, it’ll depend on what you need. If you don’t feel like you need extension, you can always look at your opponent’s Extra Deck and rip key cards, which can devastate some matchups (as victims of Kashtira Unicorn can attest!). Though pure Ritual Dogmatika isn’t the strongest deck, Dogmatikamatrix is still an excellent card with two powerful effects packed into one; no reason not to run three!
