Hello Pojo Fans,

Dogmatikaturgy is the first Dogmatika card we’ve seen in quite some time.

Normal Trap that works with Dogmatika Ritual monsters. Never seen a trap version of a Ritual Spell, but here we are. This allows for a Ritual Summon though from the Deck as well, a plus. Monsters have to be on the field rather than on the field or in the hand. Dogmatika monsters only or Extra Deck monsters because they hate those. Need to be exact, that isn’t a plus, especially when working with the Extra Deck. With Dogmatika already having two Ritual Spells to the archetype, and both not needing the monsters on the field to work, I’d say use either of those two spells instead.

Dogmatikaturgy has two things going for it: Ritual Summon from the deck, add back to the hand while cycling one to the bottom of the deck. If you are using the Dogmatika Ritual Monsters though, I’d think the Ritual Spell cards in the archetype would be enough. Sure, you need to have the Ritual Monster in the hand, but the spells are faster. Still worth playing one of if you are using the Ritual Monsters, but not worth swapping out the original Ritual Spells.

Art-4/5- Someone NEEDS to do a timeline in chronological order of all the Dogmatika/Branded stuff with Albaz and Ecclesia.

From Icejades to Dogmatika, we got another way to summon their Rituals with Dogmatikaturgy.

Dogmatikaturgy is a Normal Trap that lets you Ritual Summon a Dogmatika Ritual from your hand or Deck by tributing Dogmatika monsters and/or Ritual, Fusion, or Synchro Monsters from your field whose total Levels exactly equal that of the Ritual Monster. I mean, exact Levels isn’t hard with the Dogmatikas mainly being Level 4 or 8, meaning you can easily summon either Ritual Monster. I do wish it let you use the Extra Deck to send off a Fusion or Synchro instead of having to be on the field, or at least either field. The exact Levels becomes harder using Fusions or Synchros since you might get some varying Levels still. Second effect lets you banish this card from the graveyard to target 2 Dogmatika monsters with different Levels to add 1 to your hand and return the other to the bottom of the Deck, so it’s some recovery I guess. Only one effect a turn and only once that turn, which I don’t think was needed. This could of been a much better card than it was, but honestly I’m not sold.

Why do all these Dogmatika cards have to have hard, long, silly to pronounce names?  *Sighs, takes breath* Dogmatikaturgy is a Normal Trap with a headache worth of text on it.  In ‘short’

This card assist in your Theme Ritual Summoning by allowing you to use Ritual/Fusion/Synchro Monsters from your Field as Material (which raises the immediate question why couldn’t that be done from the Extra Deck to begin with, as it would make your life so much easier) with the clause the Level has to be EQUAL to (not equal to or greater than) the Level of the Ritual you bring out.  While in your Grave, you can remove it from play to Target (note Target) two Dogmatika Monsters in your Grave and add 1 to your Hand, while returning the other to the bottom of your Deck.  Technically, you’re going +1 there…not in the most Traditional sense, but you are getting 2 cards back (resource wise) for your 1 card removal.  Instant access to the one returned to the Hand, and potential future access to the other via the bottom of the Deck return.  The only condition being the Monsters have to be of different Levels.  You can only use One Effect per Turn, and only Once per Turn.  I’m on the fence about that.  I see the second Effect as better, but being a more or less free +1, I suppose I get that, but I don’t think the Ritual Summon part warrants that.  I just don’t see you often enough having enough Material/Monsters to abuse that.  But I digress.

After a relatively lackluster wave in Battle of Chaos, Dogmatika gets another little bump for their Ritual tactics with Dogmatikaturgy, a Normal Trap, and fittingly can be searched by Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous and Trap Trick if you need to. Dogmatikaturgy has two effects, but they’re on a one per turn hard once per turn clause, though thankfully as a Trap, you can just use the other effect (a Graveyard effect) on the next turn anyway. Uniquely, it’s a Ritual Trap, allowing you to Ritual Summon any Dogmatika Ritual monster from your hand or even your deck by tributing Dogmatika monsters or Ritual, Fusion, or Synchro monsters to equal or exceed the required levels. This’ll let Ecclesia set up summoning White Relic of Dogmatika all by itself, since Relic is only level 4, and you won’t need to do too much work to summon White Knight of Dogmatika either. Dogmatikaturgy’s second effect lets you banish it from your Graveyard to target two Dogmatika monsters in your Graveyard, adding one back to your hand and putting the other on the bottom of the deck. Recycling Ecclesia and Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Knighted is always helpful, especially when Fleurdelis is basically a hand trap if there’s an Extra Deck monster on the field. The main issue with Dogmatikaturgy, unfortunately, is that the Dogmatika Ritual monsters are not particularly powerful and don’t really have strong trigger effects. There’s not much difference between summoning White Knight on your turn or your opponent’s turn, and while White Relic could get some hefty attack, it’s another card you might as well summon on your own turn. Overall, not a great card, but it’s a very cheap way to get to White Relic if you need it.

Art: 3.75/5 Iris (Fleur) is in some hot water, what will Ecclesia do?
