Five-mana board wipes seem to be the standard anymore, but Doomskar ups the ante by letting you, if you want to, split the cost over two turns. If you’ve two mana and nothing to do with it, setting up for a three-mana board wipe is quite the play, and this can be a nice emergency arrow to pull out if you need it. I think that Doomskar is good overall, though it is right now hampered by being stuck in a weaker color; board wipes rarely go out of style, though, and that’s been a universal constant if the board wipe is good enough to see play. Splitting the mana cost over two turns strikes me as being good enough, and the option to cast it for five mana properly never hurt, either.
