Saikyo Cardfighter R And Luard’s most basic problem is thus solved. The new Luard’s skill is a straight +2 to you without needing to have a board set up first. The free Stride-based Ritual is obviously not going to be ready early unless you absolutely lucked out with your Quintet Wall or something but it’s solid later in the game to drop anything, including your Zeroth Dragon on the board. Only thing holding it back is Chaos but in all fairness that deck can screw over most other RG-centric decks. 3.5/5 |
What’s up, Rogue Squad?! As we continue our sneak peek of G Set 14, today, we’re going to have a look at the newest Luard, and I have to say that Dragfall makes up for a lot of problems that the Luard deck had. Dragheart always needed a sacrifice to pull off his on Stride skill, but Dragfall doesn’t need a sacrifice. The Luard deck needed to use Carnivore Dragon or Aurageyser Doomed to really do some good retiring, but Dragfall can do that as well, so that helps give some breathing room as far as what to put in your G Deck. Not to mention that Dragfall is the only unit out to date that can Ultimate Stride without having to discarda copy of itself, so he’s being considered the ideal target for Gyze (which we’ll look at later this week), or to just go into Ultima. Either way, Dragfall is an excellent card that we’ll see pop up for a small while. Rating: 4/5 Next Time: Let’z go to the future. Go Rogue…Go Pro…and Fight the Meta!!! |
