In standard this card just makes those wonderful
Stasis decks run more Physical blocks but that's about it.... yes, the
card can give u a 1st turn win but if your opponent stops it and gets
a A-18 Stare Down or a Confrontation in their hand to get rid of your
mass block or combat ender that 1st turn will pretty much be your end.
You have to build your deck around it to be able to make it work and
even then it can come back and rip ur head off so the card's not that
amazing.... did I mention you can't even get a mastery to help ya?

heh heh.... this card can kinda help ya cuz it
will make your opponent pay for using Trunks Swiftly Moving but that's
the only difference.... I'm sorry but this card doesn't impress me

Cosmic Backlash....Cosmic
Backlash. Did we really have to review this card?
:-/ I don't necessarily agree with everyone
about this card, but personally I don't like it in the slightest.
Well...if someone plays non-TW against you, you've got a fairly good
guess about what they're doing.
Ultimately you will have to keep a block in
your hand if that is the case. There are some nifty things you can
do with this in a TW deck though even if you can't get the instant
win. Although there's a lot of debate about it right now, it'll just
be another thing you need to take into account when making your
decks...that's all there is to it. In TE, same thing as Dragon's
Victory..sure you can win with it, but you won't get any overkills,
and that's the fun part about TE! :)

I dislike this card. Any card
that has the ability to win first turn should be elimated from the
surface of Earth. What else is there to say about it?
You can couple it with Krillin's Thoughts and go for a faster
victory, but other than that, it sucks against Blue Mastery, and
not that great against Black decks running Scout Manuever.
Next to that, Tuff Enuff, the victory is a little harder to pull
off since people will be playing more defense. All I can say
is to never perform a final physical attack against a non-tokui-waza
deck.

This is my least favorite card,
once CPH is banned. While not broken, it can walk all over certain
deck types. Meta-gaming against it will cause fairly drastic
changes. However, since it can rarely win against blue decks and
often not against black either, not many people will use it. Thus,
there will not be much meta-game against it, and it will continue to
be supremely annoying when its used. Nobody likes a deck that can
win in one turn when it gets lucky... that was one of the worst
things about CPH. That being said... CB opens up some pretty fun
deck mechanics, and I actually enjoy playing a CB deck, provided its
against a deck with some defense... easy wins make me feel like
slime.
Standard Rating: 3/5
Tuff Enuff: Last I heard, only survival worked
in TE, so 1/5 |

Wow. This is one of the 2 new ways
to win the game. I must say, this card has "cheapness"
screaming from it, but I think that would only be true the way the
current environment is being played. I think that if people just
look past this card's great power, they'll realize it can be beat.
The fact that so very few decks currently don't declare Tokui-Waza
make a Backlash deck easy to spot, and cards like Black Scout
Maneuver totally destroy this card, plus it has an inherent weakness
to Blue Style Mastery. Just make sure you watch out for this card at
a tourney, cause even one in a poorly built deck can pull off a win.

Backlash - Cell Games
Well heres the second way of the new ways winning in the dbz ccg.
Although it looks like it wont do much this card shouldn't be taken
lightly at all. So its a plain old physical attack and you get to
draw 5 cards before you block it. If it is successful and you didn't
declare a tokui-waza its an automatic win. Theres alot of ways to
make this card successful. You can do krillins thoughts and re
arrange the top 6 knowing what 5 cards they will be drawing before
you use backlash. You can do krillins solar flare + red shielded
strike forcing them to defend with a combat block if they even draw
it. Or you can just catch them off guard by doing chiaotzu's psychic
halt + Cosmic backlash + Battle Pausing forcing them to draw 10
cards that they wont be able to use. Theres more combos out there
but i don't feel like naming them all. But anyway this card is nice
for non-tokui waza decks. If you are Trunks, Piccolo or Krillin and
you are playing against a non-tokui waza deck. YOU BETTER fear
stunned. 1 Stunned and the game can be over. Hmm score just cant
leave trunks, piccolo and krillin alone cant they?
Rating 4.0 (5.0 if you are playing against trunks piccolo or krillin) |

Backlash, what's there to really say, one turn, with 2 of these and
a halt would not only drain the life deck by 10 cards, but would
have a good chance of hitting. A card that can win if only
being successful, and matching the criteria. I wouldn't use
this card, too circumstantial.
