A Score Guy |
We get to rate a level 5 eh? This
should be all sorts of interestingness <---- (brand new word
^_~). Piccolo has finally earned his level 5 but just how good is
he? Let us find out....
Standard
Piccolo has pretty good levels all around, his
Android Saga level one, his level 2 and level 3 HTs are pretty
amazing and who really cares about that level 4 of his? The only way
I can see this card ever being used is w/ Goku's Farewell because
there's just too much anti-anger in the environment. A first turn
Piccolo level 5 can hurt but is it worth the risk? 0.o I think no
til more FOCUSED Physical attacks come out.
Rating 3
Tuff Enuff
You could actually try to anger up to your
level 5 in this environment but a Cell's Thratening will so hurt.
>_< His ability to make all of your Physical attacks do +5 is
pretty ok but a Vegeta's Physical Resistance can just malke you cry.
;_; I think he will get better later on, once we get better and more
Focused physical attacks because +5 + focused attacks = overkill ^.^

Wednesday - Piccolo Level 5
Hmm Piccolo an ultra rare? pfft gohan ssj2 should have been an ultra
rare. It would have made more sense. Anyway not a bad power. All
your physicals do +5 stages and his power level stays in the H block
on the chart so it will take a few hits to knock him to 0. But with
stunned running around no one really bothers playing piccolo, trunks
or krillin. Sure you can have anti stunned stuff but if they get it
first hand and with a sphere in hand theres not much you can do.
Once you're stunned you'll either be backlashed or you will get
beatdown very bad. But piccolo at level 5 with a Red Deck with CS
mastery can do some damage. 1 Physical attack will do +8 and with
all the attacks with +3,+4 you can knock them down to 0 fast and
just smack them down for alot of damage.

Goken |
As level fives go, Piccolo's is
not that extrordinary. Compared to the devastating attacks that
earlier 5s offer, or the huge card advantage of Trunks, Piccolo is
pretty meak. But we all know that Piccolo can do some things that
others can't... he's got a selection of other cool personalities to
use in combo with, particularly level 1. Not to mention the fact
that he can be Namekian... a deck style with a card advantage is one
of the only times you'd want to have +5 to all physicals.
Standard: 3
Tuff Enuff: 2.5

For all those Piccolo anger decks
out there, here's your Level 5 to compete with all the others. The
power itself is alright, he's just a big physical beat stick. I
wouldn't say it's stronger than any of the other Level 5's though
but hey, it still is one. Better in Tuff Enuff if you can get to
Level 5 and utilize it's power more often.

DBM |
Personalities make DBM mad. Although w/ Aura Clash
and Goku's Farewell out, level 5's are becoming more and more
useful. I think this one is pretty good, because if you get your
opponent to zero you'll do some major, major damage. Still its
inefficiency outshines its power, so the rating is low.
Rating : 2.75
In Tuff Enuff this card is pretty good, because beatdown is the
name of the game. It holds more potential than most of the other
level 5's, cause you can even final for +5 stages if you have to.
The design of the format just makes this card that much
better.
