This card is great. Great in
physical decks. Great in energy decks. Great all around card. What
is not bad about your opponent not being able to play physical
combat cards? That about nulls all of their physical attacks or lets
you use your physical attacks without the worry of nasty Vegeta's
Physical Stance or Nappa's Physical Resistance. I would almost say
it's a staple in Tuff Enuff but Vegeta's Jolting Slash is still
better than Krillin's Solar Flare in my opinion.

            << CS 93 Krillin's Solar
            Flare >>
This card is great utility. It doesn't allow
you to play physical combat cards...attacks or blocks....but only if
its successful. The real devious thing behind this card is, if
you're a saiyan or neo-red deck, your opponent will usually hold
physical blocks for your oncoming assault. Then, you hit them with
this, and they can't even use the block they held....beeeautiful.
Only drawbacks? Your opponent knows exactly
what's coming once you do play it, and if blocked, its totally
useless and only drains power stages.

            CS 93 Krillin's Solar Flare
This card, like any energy is good. I don't
really have too much to say about it, though, except that it's
mediocre and playable in any deck... and if u play as Krillin, stuff
            4 in there! n_n

If there was one energy attack a
physical based Saiyan Deck ran this was it. With Saiyan being mostly
physical, the opponent would not set up to defend agaisnt the Energy
Attack nearly as much as he would physical attacks, Krillin's Solar
Flare takes advantage of this. Not only is this card great for use
in Saiyan, it's also great against it. This is a card that when it
hits, can win games....the problem is that is NEEDS to hit to have
any use. If Successful Effects are incredibly inferior to Secondary
Effects which really weakens the overall effectiveness of this card.

            Rating 2.5

Yuck theres that nasty text "If successful". This card is
pretty decent overall. After this attack is successful your opponent
cant play any physical combat cards. If a saiyan deck doesn't stop
this attack its a basic halt for them. Saiyan is so focused on
physical attacks and most of the deck is physical combat cards.
Another useful combo is in red decks. If this attack is successful
and they only have something like Gohan's ready or Goku's battle
ready to lower your anger they are screwed. You can jump up a level
with ease since theres no physical combat cards to lower you anger.
But there still is energy attacks that lower anger so watch out.
            Overall decent. |

I would like to let yall know that I'm in the worst mod ever so I hope it won't ruin my card of the day

This card goes in black decks right next to Black Energy Web and Black Defensive burst, it could work
really well with almost anything out there but I don't like it being a named card. Granted Krillin can have 4
but that's not gona make me play himn so it's irrelevant.... think the cards good but is not the 9th
            wonder in the world.

I needa follow the example of me fellow writers, save myself sometime and stop giving a TE rating cuz having
the average based on just 2 ppl is plain silly. Anywayzz... the card does get a lil better but not by
much cuz it can make a Saiyan deck cry but that's all I can think about. The card can go really well in
heavy physical beatdown decks cuz your opponent will be keeping the physical block over the energy one and
this card will make them pay for it by not allowing them to play blocks to your physical attacks, it would
be great if the card could stop HALT but after the change to a combat card it kinda doesn't work.

Simply a great card. First, its
freestyle, meaning it can go in every deck. Now, im not a great
supporter of if sucessful attacks, but in this case i'll make an
exception. The number of uses that this card has is staggering. You
can use it in Physical Beatdown decks, now they cant use physical
blocks to stop you from pounding them. You can use it as anti-anger,
now those anger raising attacks and blocks are useless. you can use
it as anti-physical, since now the physical attacks against you will
be useless.... the possiblities are endless.. the only thing
preventing this card from being broken is the fact that its if
sucessful. which is fine, i dont like broken cards anyways.
