- Fusion Saga
Your opponent must pass in his next 2 "Attacker Attacks" phases this
Combat. then some other text about if you use breakfall it doesnt
work but like that will ever happen huh? Anyway its a nice card
theres no reason not to run it. It can help you end combat for the
most part. Or you could throw an attack and if he blocks just pass
and end combat anyway. If you got the extra card space for this toss
it in. It doesnt hurt to have it in or not.

I love this card, and the image :p..
Anywho..this card is about as good as initiative. Most players don't
run
Breafall, except for a few Android decks, and when this card is
needed most, an opponent won't usually use an android. This card is
very effective when facing a Dragon Ball deck. Normally, a
dragonball deck trys to end combat as soon as possible. But if you
make them skip 2 attacks phases, thats 2 attacks you can attempt to
hit them with before they end combat. It is also decent in an enegy
deck. If you know your opponent has a beating coming, you can hurry
and get the energy attacks in your hand out before they can
obliterate you, but it would just be smarter to run some blocks,
rather than this. If I ever get this card (don't have any Fusion yet
:p..) I will probably run them in my Standard play decks to help
against Dragon Ball. Because simply running Power of the Dragon,
Huh??, and Breakthrough drill may end up not being enough.

You mean they must pass, not skip? Very nice if you're in a Combat
where you know you're screwed because you have no blocks in hand.
Play this card, they pass, you use some random card, they pass, then
you pass. Combat over. Some Android 17 decks that rely on making
your opponent skipping phases could use this card. 17 has Android
17's Back Bash. He can also use Combo, Supreme Kai's Power Hold,
Android 18's Pressure Routine, Piccolo's Fury, and in Orange, Orange
Power Beam. While the idea of making your opponent
pass/skip phases sounds good in theory, it will not win big events.

Dazed, #98 from Fusion Saga.
Power: Your opponent must pass in his next 2 "Attacker Attacks"
phases this Combat. This card has no effect on your opponent if he
has the card
Breakfall in his discard pile and/or his removed from the game pile.
Remove from the game after use. Limit 1 per deck.
This card is going to save a lot of dball decks. Before when someone
played Gohan's Kick or had Breakthrough Drill in play, you were
really screwed. Now just use Dazed, your opponents has to pass, you
use some card to get a dragon ball or something, your opponent has
to pass again, then you pass and combat is over! This card can also
get other decks out in a pinch. Let's say you are going against a
backlash deck, and they just used krillin's solar flare and it was
succesful. BAM, just use Dazed and everything is all good (just use
the process I already mentioned above)! This card will also help in
a pure backlash deck, it can be used almost like a combat ender,
except it can get around cards that stop you from ending combat. You
can see why this card is card is limited to 1 per deck.
All in all, great card, only downside is that Trunks Energy Sphere
can be
used on it, and it doesn't work if breakfall has been used (although
no one
really uses that card anyway)
Ratings:
Regular - 4.75 (this will become a staple in dball decks)
Tuff Enuff - 4 (Good card to use in a backlash deck, or against a
backlash
deck)
Power: Your opponent must pass in his next 2 "Attacker Attacks"
phases this Combat. This card has no effect on your opponent if he
has the card Breakfall in his discard pile and/or his removed from
the game pile. Remove from the game after use. Limit 1 per deck.
Seeing that I don’t find many people running Breakfall, this card
can be quite nice. I can see this being a staple in Dragon Ball
decks, and even Dragon’s Victory and of course Backlash.
Being able to force your opponent to pass twice will help you a lot.
Your Dazed. He passes. You do some attack. He passes. You pass. End
Combat. In other words, you get a free attack phase to do what you
want. I can see many people Trunks Energy Sphereing this card just
because of its potential. It is a new Combat ender that gets around
Gohan’s Kick. It gives you an all important phase that can turn the
game around. It does a lot and can get out of a big combat,
strangely enough.
Despite the strange picture, this card can become a staple in the
near future. Backlash welcomes this card as you can Dazed, Backlash,
and then if it doesn’t hit, pass and your opponent must pass as
well. Being able to have one extra attack phase without any form of
retaliation can make or break many games. Bardock decks should
welcome this with open arms. Only time will tell.
You’ll hear me talking about this card a lot if it does become a
staple. I can see it having the merits of being one in quite a few
decks. Not all, but many. It is just way too versatile.
Standard: 4.6 out of 5.0 (DB decks of course)
Tuff Enuff: 4.5 out of 5.0 (CB decks of course)
Sealed: 4.0 out of 5.0 (depends on your hand at the moment)

Dazed:
Wow, this card is great. The first thing that comes to my mind when
I read this is CPH. While not as powerful as CPH, this card gets the
job done and should be a staple in most decks. This card will be in
every dragon ball deck that is for sure. Forcing your opponent to
pass in his next 2 attacker attack phases is amazing nad gives you
one phase to do whatever you want and then the next phase to pass
which ends combat. This card gets around gohan's kick as well. Did
Score really have to give db decks another great card? Even after
the errata db may have been weakened but it's main competition was
weakened even more so. At least this card goes great in most other
decks as well, even slowing down db decks when pulled off. No matter
how powerful this card maybe, it will never be as good as CPH, but
it stills deserves a high rating.
