Majin Buu Level 5 – Buu Saga

Power: Focused physical attack doing 10 power stages of damage,
or shuffle 10 cards from your discard pile into your Life Deck
instead.
Oh boy. Another Ultra Rare. Not bad, but not something I’d jump
for joy about.
Buu’s got a nice level 5, being able to choose to lay the
smackdown or stay defensive. It can work nicely in Tuff Enuff,
stalling a few turns and smacking down a few others. The only thing
is I don’t see it being super strong compared to others like Super
Saiyan 3 Goku; extra card draws seem better to me.
It is in a sense better than Vegeta’s and many of the Goku ones.
I would also take this over Gohan’s as well. It is not bad, but if
it did +10, it would be a whole lot better.
Buu anger is not terribly bad, but I can see Fusion will bring it
a little better. Buu only has one level that helps anger a ton
(level 3, but attacking Buu has level 1). Bee also messes up Buu.
One of these physicals can hurt a lot if Buu gets there, opening up
for a big smackdown with Buu’s high PL. Focused helps it a bit. It
wouldn’t be something I would Goku’s Farewell or attempt to Are You
Tuff Enuff??? or Aura Clash to. It is a nice supporting power and
would be something to fear a little if Buu gets there.
Well, at least Buu gets a level 5. Thing is, Buu is good. So
having a level 5 just to have one… a good thing.
Standard: 3.2 out of 5.0 (can stall or beatdown, not terribly
bad, messes up 4 level anger) Tuff Enuff: 3.7 out of 5.0 (can get
here and isn’t too shabby)
Sealed: 1.3 out of 5.0 (highly unlikely you’ll get all of Buu’s
levels and get enough anger) ~matthewlow
