Personality

Power: Energy Attack. This attack can not be stopped by using combat card defenses.

Um… rest of the week’s COTDs will be short. Main reason is there’s nothing to say… Guldo is only good on level 1. Which is good because that makes him a great ally.

His power is a whopping energy attack that can’t be stopped by Combat cards. Oh boy. Let’s count the number of Combat energy blocks that are even considered when making a deck.

Time is A Warrior’s Tool
Cell’s Defense
Ally’s Sacrifice
Narrow Escape

Any others? Let’s just say you don’t run Combat blocks unless they are extremely good because of Trunks Energy Sphere. And with that in mind, his power might as well just be a normal energy attack, and you honestly should want more from a level 2. His low PL only adds to the sorrow. Don’t get up here… stay on level 1.

Standard: 1.3 out of 5.0 (hey, at least it is kinda better than Chi-Chi) Tuff Enuff: 1.2 out of 5.0
Sealed: 1.8 out of 5.0 (level 2 ally…)

Guldo Level 2, #46 from Frieza Saga

Power: Energy Attack. This attack can not be stopped by using combat card
defenses.

This has to be one of the worst transitional levels in the game, going from
the possibility of two extra cards a combat, to an energy attack that can't
be stopped by combat cards. There are not too many combat blocks in the
game, and now they don't even make them anymore, they always make them
physical combat. So basically this power is just an energy attack. There
isn't too much else to say, if you get to this level, try and Ki Push back
down right away.

Guldo (Lv.2) - Max Power: 80,000
Power: Physical attack. This attack cannot be stopped by combat card defenses.

Okay. An attack that gets by Time is a Warrior's Tool. That's pretty much it, including Cell's Defense. Okay, a bad power then, and now. Not really much to talk about. The only way you should use this card is if you have no one else to use or you have a lot of modifiers.

Tuff Enuff: 1/5
