Promo – BR2
Personality
Power: Physical attack doing +4 power stages
of damage. Raise your anger 1 level. For the remainder of Combat,
all your Saiyan Style attacks do +1 life cards of damage.
Decent. Nothing to jump for joy over like
Gohan and Cell level 2, but it is still a big physical and gives you
anger, much like the Broly theme. Key is the anger, which shows he
can be thrown into Red anger as well.
And yes, the key is the anger because your
goal with Broly is to jump to level 3. This anger is a bit steadier
than the other level 2 as it will always occur, but a bit slower.
The +1 life is just a bonus if you are playing Saiyan. Sure the +2
stages from the other level 2 is great, but that’s if you have a
Saiyan card on top… that’s if…
This runs off the fact that the level 1 gains
quick anger, and getting to level 2 with bigger base damage and a
pretty decent attack as well. The other level 2 doesn’t give you
that.
And other than that… there’s nothing really
much to say about him except he has Saiyan in the title and can use
stuff like Goku’s Super Saiyan Catch to gain anger. Decent attack
for a power, +1 life is a bonus, key is the anger to jump to the
nasty level 3. That’s it.
Standard: 3.2 out of 5.0 (anger is key)

long)
Sealed: N/A (this comes in a movie)

Hmm a physical attack for +4 and you raise your anger 1. I dunno. To
some point I like this card but the point of broly is to get to
level 3 and use that awesome power over and over. This one pretty
much says you need 5 combats to jump to level 3. I think id rather
use the level 2 from the subset. Just because you get +2 stages on
your physicals and you raise your anger 2 for just removing the top
saiyan card when entering combat. But this is just what id prefer.
Still though this card is nice with broly's high power levels this
card power should hit for something at the least.

A physical for +4. Not half bad, but far from the best. Raising your
anger
one level is not too bad, either. But the part that Broly Saiyan
decks would like is the part of all Saiyan Style attacks doing +1
life for the remainder of Combat. To get the most use out of this
(this assumes you're CRAZY enough to want to stay here), you'd have
to avoid the MBS Mastery because that gives Saiyan attacks anger.
However, this card is not one I'd base a Saiyan deck around, so go
ahead and use that MBS Mastery. I happen to like the other Lv.2,
seeing as that adds more damage (albeit to physicals) and gives you
more anger, but that's my preference.
Standard - 2.6/5. Not a great Lv.2, but not totally mediocre,
either. TE - 2.6/5.

This level is pretty good, and it goes along with Broly's theme of
gaining
anger and doing damage. This is probably about even with the his
other level
2, you should just pick whichever one is right for your deck. This
does
damage, a physical for +4, raises anger, and makes your attacks (saiyan
style) do more damage. If you use a lot of saiyan style cards, which
most
Broly decks do, you can make use of this power. Not the best level 2
power,
but it works pretty good for Broly.

King Broly
Broly, Super Saiyan (Lv.2) - Power: Physical attack doing +4 power
stages of damage. Raise your anger 1 level. All of your Saiyan
Style attacks do +1 life card of damage for the remainder of
combat.
I love this card. You can keep up w/ a Red Broly deck b/c of
the Gain 1 anger. Because it's not tied to a single style, it
opens things up more. The Modifier for Saiyan is always a plus
considering Saiyan Style doesn't have many modifiers. But, a nice
attack, modifier, and a longer time @ level 2 means the lesser
need for you to reach Level 3. But, level 3 is nice to get to.
This is what you expect a Broly PErsonality card to be, since
it does give you a 2.5 million power increase from level 1. A Big
deal indeed! If you use this level, don't go with the Cell Saga
Mastery, it just waists your deck faster. I suggest using the Good
Old Trunks Saga or the New Anger Mastery from Buu! With this card,
you can deal some serious damage, even if you don't have a 9-card
hand.

To me, this is the better of the 2 level 2's. I
much prefer a big attack with a strong Saiyan that just an ability
to raise your anger 2 levels. This card goes along nicely with
Broly's other levels. He has a pretty good power level, an
additional PUR than the other level 2, as well as a strong attack.
This level is basically used to do damage
while getting Broly to his even stronger, higher levels.
