Black Thought Focus – Capsule Corp Power Pack 2
Promo - #CCPP6
Non-Combat
Power: You may use this card when you discard a card for your Cell
Saga Black Style Mastery. Your opponent chooses a card in his hand
to be discarded before the Mastery discards one of his cards. Remove
the top 2 cards of your opponent's Life Deck from the game. If it
weren’t for this card the Cell Saga Black Mastery would be nowhere
as good as it is today. This card boosted the Mastery’s playability
and makes it easily one of the best Masteries.
This card can remove Dragon Balls, which makes it a great threat.
The extra discard gives you hand advantage, even if your opponent
chooses the card. You’ll probably get something good seeing you are
discarding a card from your opponent’s hand via your Mastery as
well.
But the biggest key with the card is the fact that it can be
stacked, so with Mastery + a couple Thought Focuses, you can easily
control a combat with your opponent having no hand. Everything you
throw at your opponent should be able to hit, seeing you know what’s
on the table and your opponent’s power. One of these Combats and you
can win a game. It can also be used effectively defensively as well;
it is most effective when you get rid of your opponent’s whole hand
so you know you got rid of all threats.
This card is also not removed from the game after use, so expect
this card to used and reused over and over again. The power of this
card is just plain amazing; you can easily have a couple of these
combats a game seeing they can be regenerated.
Setup a couple of these, get some quick hand advantage, and just
enter and let go with Mastery + Thought Focuses. Then just plain
smack your opponent like there is no tomorrow.
This card only works with one Mastery, but it is just plain wrong
with that Mastery… so it still deserves a good rating. I said so.
Standard: 3.5 out of 5.0 (discard is not terrible, but removing a DB
is very nice)
Tuff Enuff: 4.4 out of 5.0 (discarding a hand = quick way to set up
a nice Overkill)
Sealed: N/A – This comes in a CCPP2…

Black Thought Focus
Whoever picked this card knows what I love to play. Black Manip for
life. Anyway, this card obviously has to be used with the Cell Saga
Black Mastery because this is used when you discard a card for the
Cell Saga Black Mastery. You discard a card from their hand so that
your opponent discards one - And they still discard another because
of the Mastery. To boot, your opponent removes the top 2 cards of
their deck. Very fun. I love to use this when I have an opponent
down to 2 cards in their hand. I discard my card, use this, and they
lose their hand and two cards. That will open the door for me to
pull off a beatdown with energies, physicals, 14, use Black Gambit
endlessly, or just plain control their deck - And there is not a
thing they can do to stop me, unless they end Combat.
Standard - 2.5/5. A great card, but not too many use the Black CS
Mastery. But if you do, this is required.
TE - 1.3/5. Nearly nobody will use Black Manip there.

This card is amazing! This is one of the few the cards that can
remove
dragon balls, and at the same your opponent has to lost 2 cards from
his
hand! This card makes people want to use the black style mastery
from cell
saga. I guess I don't really know what else to say, but this card is
awesome.
