Vegeta’s Jolting Slash – Frieza Saga
Common - #17
Energy Combat

Power: Energy attack. Stop all physical attacks performed against villains for the remainder of Combat. Lower your opponent’s anger 2 levels. Remove from the game after use.

Whoa, Pojo picked good cards this week.

Anyway, this is one of the great cards that is present in the good Piccolo/Cell Namekian energy decks, seeing this effectively shuts down physical decks for one combat. That should be enough to keep their stages and completely destroy your opponent, in the case of a barrage of energies. However, this does provide one draw back. If you are facing a villain, you won’t be able to dish out physicals for damage, like that matters. It only means Android 14 won’t be doing anything, or those Dash or Cell’s power will be just a sitting duck. Like that really matters though.

The fact that it has nice secondary effects makes this card great. With a tad bit of anti-anger, there’s no reason not to run this in a villain energy based deck. The sheer power to have this card be used as an attack allows you to get around Gohan’s Kick. Just remember that Kick still does prevent this card from being played if used before.

There are many decks that I can see this being in. Vegeta Freestyle is another one. Generally if you are playing villain energy, run this. End of story. Just a plain great card for that kind of deck. Just like Red Back Kick.

Standard: 4.1 out of 5.0 (how is anti-anger, stop all physicals, and an energy attack bad?)

Tuff Enuff: 3.9 out of 5.0 (anti-anger only works on Dragon’s Victory, but still shuts down physicals like the Goku and Buu Freestyle decks)

Sealed: 3.5 out of 5.0 (simple; if you pulled a villain, run this thing)

Monday - Vegeta's Jolting Slash

I think this deck is in just about every Villain deck in existance
0_0...unless it's an energy deck :p..Anyway..an energy for 4 that lowers
anger 2 isn't that great, but it doesn't even have to be succesful to stop
all energy attacks performed against villains for the remainder of
combat..WoW 0_0..

Standard: 3.5
Tuff Enuff: 3.8

Vegeta's Jolting Slash, #17 from Frieza Saga.

Power: Energy attack. Stop all physical attacks performed against villains for the remainder of Combat. Lower your opponent’s anger 2 levels. (Not removed from the game, they changed that)

This is a staple in any villain energy deck. This card is another good
Vegeta named energy attack. If Vegeta gets some good levels in kid buu saga, look for freestyle Vegeta to emerge even more than it already has. If you are a villain and use this card, which you should be because you should never use this card if you are a hero, then this is an energy attack, lower your opponent's anger 2, and it is a frieza's force bubble (except for physicals). In my opinion, this card is awesome, and should be limited to 2 per deck.

Ratings:

Standard - 3.9
Tuff Enuff - 3.5
Sealed Deck - 3.6
