Japanese Dragon Ball - Episode Summaries Episode
115
The World Awakens from the Nightmare
The
episode begins looking at the Makyosei, as the screen
slowly pulls down we see that Earth is being trashed by
humans infected with the AquaMist. While Gohan and
Garlic Jr. are having a stare down, The Makyosei begins
to glow as Garlic Junior’s muscles bulge. Garlic Jr.
begins to chuckle, he probably has a good baseball joke.
Just then, Gohan leaps toward Garlic Jr. and begins
punching his stomach, Garlic splirts up blood while
Gohan pummels his stomach in a violent rage. As Gohan
continues attacking Garlic, Piccolo begins fading again.
Kuririn asks why his arm’s fading and then Piccolo
gives the short little explanation that it’s
Kami-Sama’s fault, since Kami is dying, so is Piccolo.
Then it cuts to Kami - Sama being electrocuted by the
former gods. Popo pleads for them to stop. Kami -Sama
begins to laugh, the Guardians want him to share the
joke, but sadly, Kami -Sama has no joke. Kami -Sama
tells the former guardians that they’re just a bunch
of bullies. Then he tells the former gods that it is his
duty to protect Earth. Then we cut back to Gohan kicking
the ya-ya’s outta Garlic Jr. Gohan then impales
through his back. As Gohan pushes through Garlic, a
gaping hole bursts from Garlic with Gohan pushing
through. Piccolo
screams to Gohan that it’s not over yet, Gohan then Ki
blasts Garlic head on. After a couple of silent seconds,
Garlic slowly rises from the ground.
Garlic laughs, says a few bad jokes (non-baseball
related). Kuririn, Gohan, and Piccolo stare in horror
with their mouths gawked wide open. Garlic Jr. stands up
and you see Kuririn and Piccolo through the whole that
Gohan left in his gut. He then heals the whole in his
stomach. Garlic then gets ready to attack Gohan, but
seconds before he connects a blow to Gohan; Piccolo
comes straight outta left field and kicks in the face.
While Piccolo is attacking Garlic, he begins to fade
again leaving him open for an attack. Gohan screams to
Piccolo while our namek hero is batted to the ground. As
Garlic continuously laughs, Gohan and Kuririn try
desperately to stop him. Garlic bats them both away
without effortlessly. As Gohan tries in a second attempt
to stop Garlic, he is batted away once again. Kuririn
tells Piccolo that he’s going to launch an attack
against Garlic, for he is all the Z fighters have left.
Garlic slowly walks toward the two downed warriors and
then Kuririn in desperation kicks Garlic Jr. As Garlic
rises from the ground while mightily ticked, Kuririn
fires up and blasts Garlic Junior with a Kamehameha.
Seconds before it hits, he fires it straight up into the
air. The Ki blast heads back down towards him and beats
Garlic Jr. into the ground, and smoke covers Garlic, but
as we all know, if there’s smoke, then the bad guy is
A-Okay! Garlic throws his hand up out of the whole,
screams, and grabs Kuririn by the head. Piccolo screams
at Garlic telling him to put down Kuririn now, Piccolo
punches Garlic in the stomach, it has no affect on the
green elf, then he looks at his hand as it fades. Garlic
grabs his head as well and says, Then it cuts to
Karin’s Tower. We see Yajirobe snoring, and then Maron
sticks her foot in his mouth, she screams claiming that
Yajirobe was trying to bite her. Then Yajirobe explains
that he wasn’t and that she rolled over and stuck her
foot in his mouth. Maron says that Yajirobe must have
not been used to having someone else’s foot in his
mouth. Maron tells Yajirobe that they woke up just in
time to watch the sun rise. When Karin see’s, he
realizes that the sun should have been up hours ago.
I’m guessin’ that it didn’t rise because of the
AquaMist, or because of the Makyosei star. Well,
anyways, back to the action.
As Garlic squeezes Piccolo and Kuririn’s head,
Gohan yells to Garlic trying to grasp his attention.
This distraction buys Piccolo and Kuririn’s enough
time to kick Garlic in the face. This is a really funny
scene. After the boot to the head, Piccolo grabs Garlic’s head
while pinning back his arms with his legs, Kuririn grabs
his leg, thus totally disabling Garlic Jr. I guess he
forgot about his other leg. Piccolo screams at Gohan to
Ki blast Garlic Jr. It then cuts to a scene of Kami
-Sama electrocuted. Gohan prepares for a Ki blast. Note:
It cuts back and forth a few times like this. Kami -Sama
still being electrocuted. It then cuts to Gohan is still trying to prepare for Ki
blast. Then it goes once again to Mr. Popo takes the
Super Holy Water and runs like mad. When Gohan finally
releases the Ki blast, Piccolo begins to vanish, giving
Garlic a chance to escape, which he does. He immediately
hits the ground and the attack flies past him. Popo
pours the sacred water in that little thingy where the
winds go. The people on Earth who were once rabid crazed
men are now changing back to normal. Garlic Jr. sees
what has happened to his plan, and in an enraged move,
he reopens the DeadZone, while all of the look out is
being sucked in, Gohan creates a force field to hole he
and his friends inside from danger. But how long can
Gohan hold the shield up? Word,
