U.S. Dragon Ball Z - Episode Summaries Episode 138 - Sacrifice Series: DragonBall Z (American) The episode starts where the last
left off, Tien firing away at the newly evolved form 2
of the evil Cell. Tein’s volleys of energy continue to
keep the villian at bay, but Tein is getting weaker with
each blast, he looks to his left and notices that
Androids 16 and 18, still have not left the battle
field. He screams out to them to go, and they finally
leave as Cell watches on, growing angrier as he is
pushed further into the mammoth hole in the ground
created by Tein’s powerful attack. Tein pauses breifly
to catch his breath, and giving Cell the chance to exit
the hole and attempt to follow the androids, but Tein,
despite being so weak, fires another blast at Cell,
creating another hole deep into the earth, and blowing
the villian into it. Back at Master Roshi’s house,
Yamcha and Roshi look on, sensing Tein’s dwindling
power. As they discuss what may happen, Chotsu
returns(was he gone in the last episode?), and voices
his fears of what may happen. Chi Chi then appears from
a nearby window and demands to kno Cut to Kami’s Lookout, Gohan,
Goku, and Mr. Popo sit and wait for Vegeta and Trunks to
finish thier Training, while Gohan and Goku become more
and more worried about thier friend Tein. Mr. Popo tells
the two that there’s no way for Tien to continue, and
that his life force is diminishing greatly, he may give
out at any moment. Goku is obviously disturbed by Mr.
Poppo’s comment. As the battle rages, Tein
continues to grow ever weaker. The immense discharge of
power starting to take its toll on him. He summons up
one last attack and blasts Cell back into the hole a
final time. Overcome with exhaustion, he finally falls
to the ground. On Kami’s Lookout, Goku senses the
danger his friend is in and becomes enraged. Cell exits
the hole, annoyed by the fact that such a ‘pitiful
man’ kept him at bay long enough for the Androids to
escape. Cell flies down to Tein, and kicks the warrior
in the side, Tein is thrown back, and is stopped when
his arm and shoulder go slamming into a nearby rock.
Cell smirks and lifts into the air. He begins to power
up and raises his hand. Goku, sensing his power level
rising, stands up, enraged, and dissapears in a flash. Cell, still smirking, fixes his
sites on the wounded Tien, but before he can snuff out
the brave warriors life, Goku appears before Tein. Cell
is suprised by the appearance of the legendary Sayian,
and lowers his hand. Goku demands Cell to leave Tein
alone, but does not wish to fight because he knows he is
not yet powerful enough. Cell laughs at the fact that
Goku is ‘afraid’ to battle him. Suddenly, Goku
senses another power, it’s Piccolo! He’s still alive
after the blast from Cell. Goku picks up Tein, and uses
his teleport move to get to the edge of the island.
There, he finds Piccolo, unconcious, but alive. He pulls
Picollo from the water, and puts him on his back, but
before he can teleport agian, Cell makes his intentions
known. He wants to battle Goku, here, and now. Cell
launches himself at the defenceless Goku, who holds his
two friends. Just as Cell is about to deliver a
devastating blow, Goku dissapears with his friends to
safety, leaving Cell suprised, and wanting to know how
to do the move Goku ha Back at Kami’s Lookout, Goku
has returned with Piccolo and Tein. He tells Gohan to
get some Sensu Beans from Korrin to aid their friends.
During all this, Krillian is still on his way to meet
Buhlma, finally, he finds her and gets the controller
off of her. Bulhma also has a gift for Krillian and the
others, battle suits like Vegeta’s. Krillian tells her
to take them to Kami’s Lookout, as the others are
there. Buhlma flies off, leaving Krillian with the
daunting task of getting within 10meters of the Androids
in order to use the device. Now fully healed by the
power of the Sensu beans, Tein and Piccolo stand up. As
Piccolo gives them the bad news of Cell being to
powerful for ANY of them, Mr. Popo interupts, telling
the group that Vegeta and Trunks may finally be exiting
the Metabolic Time Training Room. The 5 rush to the
entrance to the room, and it slowly begins to
open(adding to the suspense), as they look on, Trunks
exits, his clothes torn and his hair grown long.
Vegeta exits after him, his clothes also Next Episode title: Sayians

Tien is
still doing his energy blast at Cell.Tien tells
Androids 18 &
16 to leave the island luckily the Androids
escape.Tien is still keeping Cell
down in the hole.Back at Master Roshi's house Chiaotzu
arrives there.Chiaotzu
wants Master Roshi and Yamcha to go help Tien.Master
Roshi says they
can't.Then Yamcha says he will go with Chiaotzu to
help Tien.But MasterRoshi
stops them and say that thet need Goku and the others
to help.Back at the
island Tien ran out of energy and fell to the
ground.Cell gets out of the
hole and he was mad that Tien let the Androids
escape.Cell kicked Tien and
Cell was going to squash Tien.Back at Kami's house
Gohan tells Goku that they
need to help Tien.Goku teleports to the island to save
Tien.When Goku arrives
at the island Goku tells Cell to back off and leave
Tien alone.Goku tells
Cell that he will fight him tommorow.Cell calls
Goku a coward.Then Goku
senses Piccolo.Goku telepots with Tien to the end of
the island.Piccolo was
washed up on shore.Cell is amazed that Piccolo is
still alive.Cell whispers
to himself "Goku we will fight now."Goku
turns arond and sees Cell charging
at him.Goku teleports to Kami's house with Tien and
Piccolo.Goku gives Tien
and Piccolo senzu beans.Meanwhile, Krillen spots
Bulma's ship.Bulma is happy
to see Krillen and see gives him the controller
to destroy the
Androids.Bulma says you have to be at least 10 meters
away from the
Androids.Then Bulma gives Krillen a battle suit like
Vegetas.Krillen tells
Bulma to drop off the rest of the suits at Kami's
house.Cell is looking for
the Androids and Goku.Back at Kami's house Piccolo and
Tien awake.Then
Mr.Popo tells them that he hears weird sounds from the
Hyperbolic Time
Chamber.Then Trunks and Vegeta walk out.
THE END
Next time on Dragon Ball Z
Trunks and Vegeta
reveal what happened while inside the Hyperbolic
Time Chamber.But they better have some actions to back
up their words because
Cell was on the rampage.And the search for Androids 16
& 18 is really heating
up for Cell.Itis a deadly game of hide and seek next
time on Dragon Ball
Z."Saiyans Emerge"

-------- Tien runs out of energy and Cell is about to kill him when Goku teleports to the battlefield. Goku talks with Cell and tells him that he needs a day to be strong enough to beat him. Cell calls Goku a coward. Goku senses Piccolo’s ki and teleports to the place where he’s on shore. He then says that there’s senzu beans at Kami’s tower. Cell says that they’ll fight right now and flies at him. Goku teleports away at the last second. Then Tien and Piccolo are shown healed at Kami’s place. They talk about how it will take all of them to defeat Cell. Trunks and Vegeta then emerge from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Android 17 is no more. He is part
of Cell. Android 16 fought Cell, but got knnocked of his
feet. Tien sees that it is all up to him to keep Cell
from absorbing 18. He knocks Cell deeper and deeper into
the ground with a powerful attack, but his attack is
draining away his energy with each blast. At
last he gives up. Cell is ashamed that “such a
weakling” could hold him of as 16 & 18 flew away.
He is about to finish Tien off as Goku uses his instant
transmission and appears in front off Tien. He tells
Cell that all he needs is one more day and he will
destroy him. Cell scoffs at him, saying he never
believed that the legendary Goku would not fight, but
only say “See you tomorrow.” Goku senses Piccolo and
teleports to the shore with Tien. He takes Piccolo on
his back and prepares to take the two warriors back to
Kame’s. “No, Goku,we will fight now,” says Cell, and he rushes at
Goku. Goku & friends disappear just as Cell reaches
them. Next we see our heroes at Kame’s place. They are
all better, thanx to Korin’s censu beans. Just then, a
door creaks open, and Trunx and Vegeta emerge from the
hyperbolic time chamber! They’re
baaaaaaaaaaaack. Too bad Vegeta didnt get lost, though. --------------------- Sacrifice Episode number 138
