Guide to Dragonball CD's by Andy So far these are all the cds that ssj4gokuh has. If either of us gets more cds we will be sure to add them onto this list. This list is to help you know what cds to buy. Just because we like a cd does not mean you will.
Dragonball Z: Music Collection This is a cd that has a lot of track on it, but remember that bigger is not always better. This was the first cd I got and I enjoy it, but it doesn't offer many of the classic tracks that a lot of Japanses DB fans enjoy and that is because it is not a collection from the series, but a single movie. This cd includes only 2 songs and has 24 tracks of BG music and many of the songs are repeates with minor variations and at points ceratin tracks can only be 15 seconds long. I still enjoy this cd and I also think the cover to the cd is awesome (like that should matter). I feel that this cd is a lot like Movie 11 though, not very good. The reason I say this is because I love songs and can listen to them over and over again. With BG music, even though there are some classics on this cd, you can only listen to them so many times without getting sick of them. So this is an average cd.
Dragonball Z 5 cd set Favorites on CD- Marvelous Adventure, Hunt for Mr. Dream, Green Travelers, Son Gokuh Song, and Wolf Hurricane This cd offers music from Dragonball. This is one of my favorite cds out of the five. This is one of the cds which is mainly songs and not BG music. It has an array of soft songs to faster beat songs.
CD two of five I got these cds from a friend and this one was a blank that I never worried about getting fixed. I will try to get a review of this cd soon. CD three of Five Favorites on CD- We Were Angels, We Gotta Power, Zenkai Power, Hope of the Blue Wind, He's Son Gokuh, Chala Head Chala, You Are The Hero This is my favorite of the five cd set because is contains so many awesome tracks. This is another one of the mainly song and not BG music cds. Besides the tracks above this cds offers the closing themes to movies 2, 3, 4, 8, Bardock Special, Trunks Special and the first closing theme to DBZ and the second opening theme to DBZ. Out of all the cds if you could listen to one this should be it.
CD four of Five This is mainly a BG cd that has music from the fight between Gokuh and Piccolo- Daimaoh to the final World Martial Arts Tournament in Dragonball Z. This has classic theme's such as when Gokuh went SSJ and fought Freeza and the music when Trunks fought Freeza. This has some great BG music from the Cell saga and a great song called Angel. This is another must have.
CD five of Five This cd offers a few songs from movies. It offers the song from the the DB movie Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle and I am pretty sure the song from Movie 7. Also includes the original opening for Dragonball. The instrumental version of Chala Head Chala is also played on this cd. This is a pretty good cd.
