Saikyo Cardfighter R This one I guess was going to crop up because of what it is, and what deck it’s for, but I still need to take a stand against a card that takes a long game, which Luard was probably going to win anyway, and sealing it for you…at a -3 total to you, so woe betide you should you fail. (Or not, you rich scrub-ass metasheep) But for gaining power and critical as well as sealing Perfect Guards so it can carry the power a bit better, Dragstrider Luard slips into the comfy chair of ninth place. 3/5 |
Aruku Luard, Luard, Oh Luard. Why did they make this card achievable on second stride. Like seriously why? I’ve seen too many games ending on second stride it’s not funny. This thing gets monstrously huge with the support of the other Shadow Paladin cards. Not to mention his own power boosts and the Guard Restrict easily making games one-sided. Definitely one of the meta breaking cards ever printed this year 5/5 |
What’s up, Rogue Squad?! So, for #9, we’re looking at Dragstrider, Luard, and speaking from experience, this card is extremely scary to go against! Luard’s cost seems hefty at first being Ritual 7, sacrificing 2 rear-guards and discarding 2 or more cards, but the exchange is worth the high cost. For every card you discard, Luard gets an extra 3000 Power. Just from that alone, I’ve seen people drop 4, 5, to the highest I’ve seen being 10 cards discarded, and having Luard becoming a ridiculously high number to block. Speaking of blocking, if you’re on the receiving side of this Dragomagician looking bastard, then you better have G Guardians and triggers abundant because Luard laughs at grade 1’s and higher. Throw in a quad drive and an extra Crit to boot, and you have the perfect recipe for our #9 spot. Rating: 3.75/5 Next Time: The only G Guardian on the list. Go Rogue… Go Pro…and Top the Meta! |
