Tornado Flames used to be a good card. It was good,
because the fire civilization didn't have much
removal. All decks need at least a little defense in
order to survive. Tornado Flames along with Rothus
served this purpose in mono-fire decks. Unfortunatly
Tornado Flames isn't that great anymore. Volcanic
Arrows is a bit better for a rush deck. Searing Wave
has basically replaced Tornado Flames as fire's late
game removal. Many people are probably wondering why
I hate Tornado Flames. The reason I hate Tornado
Flames is because it pails in comparison to Death
Smoke, and Terror Pit. I really don't think you
should have to pay five mana to kill off a 4000
powered creature. Why not just pay one more mana,
and cast a Terror Pit, or Searing Wave?

Tornado Flame
I love this card ;x
Tornado Flame: Fire Spell, 5-Mana, Shield Trigger.
You get to destroy one of your opponent's creatures
that has a Power of 4000 or less. Oh yeah, I'll take
that.
Is this card good? Heck yeah!.. but, it has a rival:
Volcanic Arrows. At only 2-Mana and a Shield
Trigger, Volcanic Arrows can destroy one of your
opponent's creatures with a Power of 6000 or less;
the only drawback is that you have to discard one of
your own Shields. I think it's all a matter of
preference of what card to run. Honestly, I love
Tornado Flame as it's a very reliable card and
rarely cannot destroy a creature. It's a very solid
card.
In Limited Tornado Flame MIZES. Most creatures won't
exceed 4000 Power, so Tornado Flame can deal with
them very easily. And, of course, it's only an
Uncommon, so it would be fairly easy to nab at least
one.

Tornado Flame
Constructed - 4/5
Look at that, another card I
love. This is another crucial
part of any deck that tries to
rush with red. The reason is
because it gets rid of those
pesky 4000 blockers that love to
kill your power attackers. A
wonderful card, though it loses
alot of kick late game.
Limited - 4/5
Creature kill. Another factor
for the oh-so-important speed
that is needed in draft play.
Good card. Good card indeed.

Fish & Chips |
Hey everyone! Fish
here reviewing Tornado Flame. Destroying a monster
is good, but it's kind of expensive for 5 mana. At 5
mana, you'll want to do something that will more
affect the field, and the 4000 power or less thing
isn't good. It is a shield trigger however, and at 5
mana your opponent will most likely have a creature
with 4000 or less power on the field. In red rush,
it will destroy some light blockers.
Constructed 3.5/5
Limited 3.5/5
Chips' Review
Hey everyone this is Chips reviewing Tornado Flame.
It is a fire spell that costs 5 mana that destroys a
monster in your opponent's battle zone with 4000
power or less. It's expensive because at 5 mana your
opponent won't have very many creatures with 4000 or
less but it's still a very good card because it's a
shield trigger as well.
