Writhing Bone Ghoul
This guy doesn’t exactly do a lot for dark, being
nothing more than a 2/2000 creature. Not a lot of
power, no interesting effects.
However, he can be very useful in a swarm/blitz deck
as a second turn play following Braid Claw or Marrow
Ooze. Now, what makes him a good choice for a swarm
deck instead of other 2/2000 guys? The answer is his
civilization. Darkness has other cards that work
well in swarm/blitz decks, such as Marrow Ooze
(1/1000) and Snake Attack (everything gets
double-breaker). The Bone Ghoul complements these
cards and adds focus to the civilization, preventing
a too-many-color deck. Writhing Bone Ghoul is only
good if played right in a swarm deck; other than
that, he’s weak.
In a draft this card does nothing. He doesn’t have
any type of edge over other low cost cards. I’d pass
on him.

Well Writhing Bone Goul is cost effective. You pay
two mana for a 2000 powered creature. That's a
decent trade off. Unfortunatly there's better stuff
out there. Both Horrid Worm, and Wailing Shadow are
going to be played over this guy. If you are looking
for a decent Darkness rusher then Writhing Bone Goul
is the card for you. Otherwise don't use it.

Writhing Bone Ghoul-
#66(base set)
Ok hi peoples, again I have not done one in a while,
I am sorry but high school is rough and I want to
spend all my cpu time for home work and games lol.
well today we have a vanilla of a card Writhing Bone
Ghoul and since this is a vanilla there isnt much to
say about it =/ its a living dead that is a 2000 for
2 not much more to say
Ratings:
Constructed- 2/5 usualy if it is in a dark deck it
is mana food though I wouldn't know since I havn't
seen it in a deck
Limited- 2.9/5 a little higher here because most
normal crappy cards are better in limited and this
is a cheap darkness card.
final thought- none tonight folks... not much to say
about vanilla, but strawberry short cake on the
other hand...

Writhing Bone Ghoul
Constructed - 3.5/5
Yes, I know this is the equivalent of Vorg for
Black, but in a deck without Red, this is one of
Blacks only cheap attackers that has no drawback.
They need to put out some Evos for it. Badly. Like
I've said before about cheapies, its Hammer bait.
Limited - 4/5
Cheap. Fast. Kinda big. LOL. As I've said before,
speed is a key element in winning drafts, and this
card give you that. Yeah yeah I know..its Hammer
bait. LOL. |

Writhing Bone Ghoul
– This guy is a 2000 for a 2-drop. That’s not
bad for a Suicide Black deck where you are just
going to rush your opponent, and go for a quick
win. He might get through for an early shield.
But Bone Ghoul has no effects and that leaves me
wanting a little more. He certainly isn’t going
to get through most of your opponent’s standard
blockers either.

Deck – 2

Hey everyone! Fish
here reviewing Writhing Bone Ghoul. it's just
Immortal Baron, Vorg for black, which makes it
better than Vorg. Black needs at least a little
power card. At 2 mana, this is about the most power
you'll get, and for black, it's even more important.
Black isn't much for power, so Writhing Bone Ghoul
really helps in the early game, and the late game
when you need an extra creature. Not much more to
say about this card.
Constructed: 4/5
Immortal Baron of black. Good for Fire, godd for
Darkness as well.
Limited: 4/5 Same
thing.
