Whisking Whirlwind
-- Shadowclash of Blinding Night
In the right deck this card could be pretty good.
Attack with all your
creatures, and then untap them, so that your
opponent cannot attack them
during his turn. This card is best used in a rush
deck. I've never seen it
played in a Mono-Light but it could be nice in that
type of a deck too. If
you want you can cast Full Defenser, and Whirlwind
in the same turn. Then
you can attack with your creatures, and defend with
those same creatures
during your opponent's turn.

Whisking Whirlwind
Might as well call this card "You Can't Touch This."
; )
[Effect]
Untap all your creatures at the end of your turn.
Whisking can be helpful to certain decks in
Constructed, extending Toel 's effect to builds that
otherwise wouldn't want to invest 5 mana for the
widespread untap effect.
With Whisking your opponent has to work harder to
kill off your creatures.
If he can't draw or cast widespread kill for some
turns, a few Whisking drops can spell a heap of
trouble for blocker-less opponents in a Rush deck.
In Limited, this card is tops. Creature kill is
sparse and direct attacks are usually the only way
an opponent can wreck havoc on your field. For me,
it's a near-automatic Limited pick.
Effect Ratings:
Constructed: 3/5. Not for every deck but if you've
ever wanted a low cost alternative to Toel, then it
doesn't get any better than Whisking.
Limited: 4.5/5. Choose your spells wisely since it's
way more important to pack creatures. But if you
draw this spell, it will annoy your
opponent--especially if you have better field
advantage.
