Meteosaur- Uncommon-
#82
Well we have the last mediocre card for the week =/
Meteosaur
Well lets just say this, he is a very over costed
Crimson Hammer with legs =/. Not even the fact that
he is a creature will change that fact that with
five mana I could get a 9500 Explosive Fighter Ucarn.
Ratings:
Constructed- 1.5/5 if you don't have better
replacements then you need to buy more than just a
starter deck
Limited- 2.3/5 a little better here because removal
is more scarce

Meteosaur
When I was teaching this game to a friend of mine, I
related this card to Flametounge Kavu. Meteosaur is
where it’s at. Usually by turn 5, they’ll have a
creature weaker than 2000 out, probably Aqua Hulcus
or another one of that nature with a since come into
play effect. Cards like Meteosaur, Swamp Worm, and
Storm Shell make your side of the table look a lot
bigger and there’s a lot smaller in one smashing
blow.
Unfortunately, it’s a little more narrow than Swamp
Worm or Storm Shell. Still a very worthy card for
Fire decks. And in draft, you take all the 2-for-1
trades you can. That’s what wins you the game.

Meteosaur
What a weird name.
Meteosaur: Fire Creature, 5-Mana, 2000 Attack.
Awful, huh? The text says that when you put [this
creature] into play you can destroy one of your
opponent's creatures with 2000 Attack or less.
Different.
I really don't know about this card. I see it as an
expensive Crimson Hammer in a way, but you get a
creature out of the deal. I suppose you could play
this card as tech if you wanted to destroy
creatures.. or something. I think there are better
cards to play. Heck, even the new Burst Shot from
Evo-Crushinators of Doom seems better. I'd probably
rather play Meteosaur, though, for the 1 less Mana.
Pros: destroys a creature, chump creature
Cons: 5-Mana, 2000 Attack, ONLY one creature
Just play Crimson Hammer in multiples. In Limited
this card is decent, but not special.
Tournament: 1.5/5
Limited: 2/5
