Shadow of Age
Today's card is yet another addition to "Forgotten
Evo" week. It's the ghost evolution that is Frost
Spectre, Shadow of Age. For 3 mana, you get a 5000
body, no summoning sickness, and slayer. But that's
not all! You get slayer on ALL OF YOUR GHOSTS!!!
With all the great ghosts that you can play, this
card can get really, really sick...
Of course, when you think of ghosts, you think of
immediatly Jack Viper. What's not to love about a 3
mana 4000 power evo that returns your other
creatures to your hand when it's destroyed.
Shadowclash got us Mongrel Man, the card that
basically made the Jack Viper deck viable. Now this
evolution makes it complete, because now ALL of your
ghosts are slayers, and NOW whenever you play a
ghost, you get a ghost WITH SLAYER. If it ever
needed to though, Frost can suicide into anything
and kill it, and at 5000 power, it has some presence
on the field. With Shadow Moon, it's a 3 for 7K
power.
This card and the 5 cost Pit next set should make
Ghosts pretty powerful in the future. I expect some
good things to come during these invitationals...

This is a very nifty little ghost
evo and is needed imo as much as viper in ghost
decks now that it is out. Once again I do not
have as much time as I want and will have to end
this review quickly.
