Sorry I
haven’t been writing anything lately. My family went
on vacation last week which meant no computer
access. Look forward to the usual tourny report
after this weekend though. Hopefully I can beat
Justin Florio to overtake him in DCI points. Both of
us will probably end up in the Top 4 of Galactic
Quest’s Circuit event in a few weeks too. Winning
that trip to Los Angeles sure seems like a nice way
to end my Duel Masters career. ^_^
Today’s
review continues with the McDonalds promo cards.
Since there are five of them, we are doing one each
day this week. Mine will be shorter than usual today
due to the simplicity of Twister Fish. Short, sweet,
and to the point...

Set:
McDonalds’s Promo
Twister Fish
defines the word mediocre. There are just so many
better options available. Aqua Jolter and Aqua
Surfer are both superior if you really want to have
a shield trigger creature. Corile and even Aqua
Knight are higher quality drops on turn five. His
attack power is overcosted, not to mention
vulnerable to Searing Wave. His pathetic race is
completely insignificant. There is simply no reason
to use Twister Fish.
Rating:
1.5/5
Step away
from the Twister Fish and put your hands where I can
see them! Do NOT even consider putting this
guy into a deck. Unless there is some incredible Gel
Fish evolution in the future, just stash Twister
Fish in the trade binder and let him collect dust.
Everything will be alright if we just ignore him
completely.
