After last
week's revieing of terrible cards, we reach a
week of ALL NEW AWESOME CARDS from Epic Dragons
of Hyper Chaos. First, let me say that "OMFG
THIS SET R0X0RS THE BIG ONE1111!" This is
seriously one of the coolest sets yet. Turbo
rush is a really AWESOME mechanic, and let's not
forget the sets namesake. DRAGONS!!! Today, we
take a look at one of the beefiest dragons ever,
and one of the most powerful effects, all tied
up in one fire breathing, mana burning,
triple-breaking package that just oozes with
AWESOMEness!
Uberdragon Bajula
Cost: 7
Civilization: Fire
Card Type: Evolution Creature
Race: Armored Dragon
•
Evolution-Put on one of your creatures that has
Dragon in its race.
Whenever this creature attacks, choose up to 2
cards in your opponent's mana zone. Your opponent
puts those cards into his graveyard.
Triple breaker (This creature breaks 3
shields.)
Flavor Text: With so many powerful effects,
there was no room for flavor text.
Power: 13000
Mana
Generated: 1
Rarity: Super Rare
Card Number:
S3/S5
Please, someone tell me, WHY?!? This is an
incredibly powerful card, and if it weren't an
evolution, it would be broken. Fortunately it
is not, thus, it is AWESOME! I bets we see this
bugger at nationals occasionally...
Civilization: Armored Dragons
are a decent race, with lots of support (Fire
Birds, anyone?), and they now have this guy as
an AWESOME evolution. Not only that, this guy
can evolve from any race that has Dragon in it's
name. AWESOME! Now, the Zombie Dragons, Magma
Dragons, and Earth Dragons can be evo fodder
too. Dragons got an AWESOME boost in Epic
Dragons, adding to their already insane amount
of power.
Cost: It costs seven mana by
itself, but it's worth every one of them.
Sadly, you also have to summon his evo-bait, the
cheapest of which I can think of costs four
mana. To summon this guy in a turn, you'd have
to pay 11 mana... an AWESOME amount. Not cheap,
but worth it.
Power: 13000 power. Yeah,
this guy is Beefy. He must be eating his
manwich. 13000 power is above virtually all
removal spells (cept Terror Pit), and it can
flatten an FDF allmost twice over. Pretty darn
AWESOME. Just be on the lookouts for
Billion-Degree Dragon. ^_^
Abilities: Snap, here comes
the AWESOMEness of this card...
Evolution creature, thus he has no summoning
sickness. OK so far...
Triple Breaker, going out of order here, but
hey, this is AWESOME. A non-summon sick, triple
breaker? Your opponent can lose half their
defenses with a single stroke! AWESOME, but
what if you're blocked...
Whether the attack strikes the shields or not,
the last, and most devastating (and AWESOME)
ability kicks in. WHen he attacks, you kill two
of your opponents mana. OUCH! Mana advatage is
precious in this game, and taking two from your
opponent in one swoop is devastating... This is
what makes this guy near broken!
THE REVIEW
Constructed overview: Build a
deck around this guy, and watch your opponent
squirm. A deck with lots of mana accel, some
Rumbling Terrahorns to fetch this guy, bunches
of dragons to evo from, and maybe some Fortress
Shells, and you've got a wicked deck. OR, use
him in a hardcore dragon deck. Either way is
AWESOME. He's an evolution though, so tread
cautiously. 4.5/5
Limited Overview: It'll be
hard to summon, and even harder to find in a
pack, but if you pull off this summon (making
you AWESOME in my book), then you win. Nothing
can stop this guy in a draft... 3/5
FOR
THOSE THAT DON'T KNOW...
Anyhow, I'm
doing a little contest at the moment. Look at
the underlined part of my review (not the next
time line, but something else), and tell me what
that line is from, or where I got it from. The
first person to e-mail me five times with the
correct answers will win a copy of the card we
reviewed that day, plus a little... Bonus.
Well,
nobody told me Friday (yet), so it's still
open. As for today: How many times did I
say AWESOME in this review?
Next time: This card makes my head hurt...

Hey guys. We’re going to spend this
week reviewing some of the nastier new cards now
that Set 8 release tournaments have finished. Those
of you who can make Nationals should pay extra
attention if you need help deciding what EDoHC cards
are worth trying out. Just a few more days left for
testing! o_0
Überdragon Bajula
Type: Creature
Civilization: Fire
Race: Armored Dragon
Mana Cost: Seven (7)
Rules Text:
-
Evolution — Put on one of your
creatures that has Dragon in its race.
-
Whenever this creature attacks,
choose up to 2 cards in your opponent’s mana
zone. Your opponent puts those cards in his
graveyard.
-
Triple breaker (This creature
breaks 3 shields.)
Power: 13,000
Rarity: Super Rare
Set: Epic Dragons of Hyperchaos
Power/Cost: Bajula Dragon’s stats are
simply incredible. Evolutions creatures are supposed
to have the benefit of a higher cost-to-power ratio,
but this guy goes off the charts! There is not a
single commonly played creature in Duel Masters that
can destroy Bajula in battle.
Civilization/Race:
The downside to his sickening power
is that you have to actually summon Bajula first.
Not that it’s difficult or anything. As all of you
should know, the Dragons gained significant support
with the unleashing of set eight. There are now
seventeen different Dragons and four evolutions able
to benefit from Cocco Lupia, Totto Pipicchi, etc.
Yikes!
Effects:
After 13k power, great support, and the sweet
picture, we still have not even reached the climax.
Now tack on Triple breaker to boot. Not to mention
every time Bajula attacks, even if he never
breaks shields, your opponent will instantly lose
two mana down the drain. Makes for one nasty combo
if you ask me. Bring out the monstrosity, and then
rob some mana so that they can’t even respond
adequately.
Limited:
3.5/5
The guy who ran our release tourney
shuffled up each box before he handed out everyone’s
packs, so one guy pulled TWO copies of Bajula in his
five packs. However, that duelist opted not
to use either of them due to lack of evo bait. The
lesson here: Bajula is indeed an incredible card,
but you have to play smart when drafting. That could
mean leaving out the big daddy for more reliable
options.
Constructed: 4.5/5
Every aggressive Dragon deck should
be running at least two copies of Bajula as their
finisher. With a little bit of luck and
acceleration, you could feasibly be wacking away
with the behemoth on turn five. Scary thought.

So the
dragons of chaos begin their rampage. Today we
start off with the Uberdragon of all Bajulas. I
hope everyone had fun at their Pre-releases if
they went/had one. This Saturday will be one of
the biggest, if not the biggest
tournament Duel Masters has every held. I sure
hope I get to meet some of you there. Don't
miss me, cause I shouldn't be too hard to find.
Now for the review.
Name:
Überdragon Bajula

Race: Armored Dragon
Civilization: Fire
Type: Evolution
Rules Text:

Triple breaker (This creature breaks 3

Power: 13000
Mana Number: 1
Artist: Seki
Rarity: S
Collector Number: S4
Set: Epic Dragons of Hyperchaos
Race/Civilization: Dragons, Dragons, Dragons!!!
Fire, Fire, Fire!!! Though the Fire part of it
has less meaning than the dragon part.
Uberdragon sure has been getting more than
enough attention on the message boards, and it
is well deserved too. Uberdragon has a lot of
support now, so it should have some pretty good
playability, though I don't know if it will be
played at Continentals. We will just have to
wait and see.
Power/Cost
Ratio: Well, it has an excellent ratio here,
able to take down many, if not all of the
commonly played cards, even Alcadeias. This
should interesting to see it get on the field..
Imagine it with Big Al on the field, that is on
your field. Can you say, good game??
Effect:Here's
the main reason it gets so widely talked about.
Triple Breaker, along with mana destruction can
lead to well, destruction. This dragon should
be feared as of right now for awhile, especially
with some protection that dragons come with.
Constructed:
3.7/5 May change it but as of right now, it
stays. As this isn't clear to me what damage it
packs.
Limited:
3.5/5 Sorry yall. Others may have a better
review but since I don't have much time and
didn't get to go to the Sealed Tourney, I don't
know how well it did.
Overall:
3.6/5 Well that is about all I can say.

set.
Civilization:
Fire, well fire is known for its speed, mass,
destruction and for its big bad scary dragons.
plenty of evo bait from the set that is red and from
past
sets as well. Bolmeteus, Bolzard, Bolshack, Garkago,
Bazagazeal ( not really
). Plenty of evo bait for this guy so A + here.
9/10
Power:
13000......................... what the heck
normally played can take this card down power wise?
10/10
Race:
plenty explained in the civi section
9/10
Effect:
too many effects!
First off its evolution of ANY dragon
Second Every time it attacks burn two mana. * drops
jaw *
Third Triple breaker! an actualy playable triple
breaker!
9/10 this card is pretty crazy if used correctly.
Overall:
Limited: 6/10 my friend pulled one and he made
finals with it but then again
i pulled abzo dolba and i din make finals so ya
never know.
Constructed:
7/10 i use it, this guy is crazy it is a very
satisfyign feeling to triple breaker then make your
opponent lose two mana. ahh just crazy.

Hello
everyone. This week we are reviewing the best
cards from Epic Dragons of Hyper Chaos, so I
will try my best to review them all, since they
are all very intrtesting. I wasnt able to attend
the Release Event, so until my local stores
around here get them I wont have any. Today we
review Uberdragon Bajura, one of the most
devestating creatures in the game.
Name: Überdragon Bajula
Cost: 7
Race: Armored Dragon
Civilization: Fire
Type: Evolution
Rules Text:
Evolution-Put on one of your creatures that has
Dragon in its race.
Whenever this creature attacks, choose up to 2
cards in your opponent's mana zone. Your
opponent puts those cards into his graveyard.
Triple breaker (This creature breaks 3
shields.)
Power: 13000
Mana Number: 1
Artist: Seki
Rarity: S
Collector Number: S4
Set: Epic Dragons of Hyperchaos
Power/Cost:
Bajura is
insanely powerful for such a low mana cost.
13000 power is enough to take out basically any
creature in the game. It nearly doubles the
power to cost ratio 2:1. I mean, come one, he
costs only 7 mana, which comes easily. 7 mana in
my opinion is WAY too low for this guy.
Civilization/Race:
Bajura fits
in well with the Fire Civilization. It's effects
go well with it. The Armored Dragon race was
small, but now this set has offered many new
ones. You might think this guy will be difficult
to get out, but in reality, he wont be.
Effects:
This is like the double whammy right here. I am
starting to worry about this guy the more I
think of how dangerous he is. This card can
literally shut you down. I think it's possible
to have this guy out on turn 6 if you use a
combination of Cocco Lupia, Bolzard Dragon, and
then Bajura. When this creature attacks, he
takes two of your opponents mana cards with it.
TWO. I mean come on. If he is out of turn 6, you
cant do anything, unless you Corile it. Im
hoping to discard it with Cranium Clamp before
he even gets to breathe. Bajura is also a Triple
Breaker, which is crap. He's the best Triple
Breaker in the game for his low mana cost and no
negative effects. This card can turn the tide of
a duel quicker then any card out there, other
then maybe Lost Soul.
Limited:
3.9/5 He is usable here, but he
takes some to get out. He is also a Evo, and
there are a lot of Dragons in this set, so if
you were lucky enough to pull him them by all
means use him.
Constructed:
4.5/5 Very
usable in this format. Many ways to get him out.
One of the most devestating cards out there.
I am looking for
any cards from this set. Contact me if intrested
to trade.

Uberdragon Bajula
Cost: 7
Civilization: Fire
Card Type: Evolution Creature
Race: Armored Dragon
• Evolution-Put on one of your creatures that has
Dragon in its race.
Whenever this creature attacks, choose up to 2 cards
in your opponent's mana zone. Your opponent puts
those cards into his graveyard.
Triple breaker (This creature breaks 3 shields.)
Power: 13000
Rarity: Super Rare
Card Number: S3/S5
Civilization: With this newest set out Armored
Dragons and anything with “dragon” (including
Dragonoids) received a sweet boost in support and
playability. Uberdragon Bajula is one of the 3
newest evolutions lined up for the 4 races of
Dragons and an awesome one at that. I as most am
tinkering with the 4 Dragon races since their new
potential shot through the roof.
Cost: A 7 “drop”, most would at first glace of any
evolution consider old favorites like Crystal Lancer
or Fighter Dual Fang more worth it. However 7 mana
cost for his power is beyond worth it in card
efficiency.
Power: I know of swarms of people who play 6-8 mana
cost creatures ranging from 3000-9000 power on a
daily basis. This blows them out of the water.
There are only a handful of removal spells able to
take him down most right in his own mana cost range.
His biggest weakness for now will be being discarded
from the player’s hand considering that even if he
does cause a Terror Pit to activate as a shield
trigger, he was still a fair exchange.
Abilities: First off he is an evolution creature,
thus only Lu Gila, Silver Rift Guardian and anything
with slayer or blocker can slow him down once he
hits the field since he has no summoning sickness.
Whenever he attacks he destroys 2 of his opponent’s
mana even if he is blocked so now matter what you
win. Even if he didn’t have his next ability, he
would be more than worth his overall cost. Finally,
he is one of the select creatures with Triple
Breaker. With the exception of himself and Super
Necrodragon Abzo Dolba, all other Triper Breakers
have to normally wait a turn to attack thus making
northing short of a god in this game.
Card Efficiency: He is probably one of the most
efficient cards in the game.
Best case scenario he is a 5 for 2 meaning that it
will cost him and another card (his evobait) for 5
of your opponent’s cards (2 mana and 3 shields).
I’m all about efficiency so expect to see this
section in all of my reviews from now on. ^.^
Constructed: With only having being an evolution
creature as a very minor weakness, he will run
rampant in most metagames. Since most dragon decks
are still in their testing phase it will probably be
about a month for a truly dominating deck to run him
well. 4.5/5
Limited: The one person who pulled this in our
release tournament never summoned him. Having a good
amount of evolution bait is key especially in this
type of tournament. 3.5/5
