When I first laid eyes on Jabaha’s Automaton
I was almost in shock. The Xenoparts race
is mainly derived of creatures that cause
trouble and don’t entirely rely on power to
get the job done. Jabaha’s Automaton now
provides this cumbersome race with raw
power. Here’s the review:
Jabaha’s Automaton
Cost:
5
Race:
Xenoparts
Civilization:
Fire
Type:
Evolution
Rules Text:
·
Evolution-Put on one of your XenoParts.
·
Power attacker +4000 (While attacking, this
creature gets +4000 power.)
·
Double breaker (This creature breaks 2
shields.)
Power:
6000
Like I said before the Xenoparts race isn’t
exactly famed for it’s power which is why it
was a surprise that Jabaha’s Automaton was
released. For the cost of only 5 mana you
get a 6000 power beatstick, which is
somewhat less than average but completely
manageable. The best part is that the power
actually jumps up to 10,000 when this
creature attacks, which is stellar. A lot
of people will have a difficult time going
up against this much power. The double
breaker aspect adds a nice little touch and
makes a Xenoparts deck very playable.
Obviously this guy is an evolution creature
and with a cost of only 5 mana we should
hope for some cheap evo bait, right? Let me
just say that with Xenoparts you will never
be disappointed. We have a broad selection
of very cheap and very dangerous creatures.
As a matter of fact, all the good ones cost
only two mana and among them we have the
famed Rikabu’s Screwdriver! How crazy is
that? Not only can Rikabu’s Screwdriver
evolve into a huge heavyweight but it can
clear the path of blockers until it’s time
to summon the big guy. Check out the rest
of the roster: Brad’s Cutter (shield
trigger creature), Vorg’s Engine (nuker),
and Gigio’s hammer (power boost). All of
them are deadly in their own respect.
In today’s meta an evolution creature is
only as good as the sum of its parts. But
looking at all of the incredible creatures
we get to choose from I’ll say that Jabaha’s
Automaton is top notch! Aggressive duelists
are going to love this.
The Good:
The creature itself is great but the evo
bait really makes it shine!
The Bad:
Xenoparts are weak for the most part so
you’ll have to either find a way to clear
the path or protect our little friends.
The Ugly:
I love the power but the Xenoparts weenies
come with better effects… but I guess that’s
what makes a deck like this so
well-balanced.
Constructed Rating:
5/5 – Yes, I gave it a perfect, go ahead and
sneer. In my opinion anything that evolves
from Rikabu’s Screwdriver and attacks for
10,000 power deserves all the hype. On top
of that you have a wide range of evo bait
that costs only 2 mana. This thing is just
perfect
Limited Rating:
4/5 – I got 1st place in my
prerelease with this card (thank you Brad’s
Cutter). Once you summon it the game is
pretty much done.

questions, and/or objections on the Message
