Guardians revenge:

If you're having a duel with some one busted out a lot of blockers  to protect himself using cards that forces your oppenet to tap his creatures is fine.

For example:

having an army of creatures enough to take out all shields then playing holy awe or evolving one of your guardians into Larba Geer, the immanculate( effect: taps all oppents creatures that have blocker) will give you an oppen door to his shields.  If there aren't any shield triggers.
