Archtypes for Evo-Crushinators of Doom
Hello everyone, this is my first
"yammer". But first here's a little background information on myself. I've
been coming to pojo since my days as a loyal pokemon player. I know/play
Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Magic, Harry Potter, Marvel, Duel Masters, and a slew of
others. My account name is Will5869 on the pojo message boards. I've played
TCG's/CCG's for almost 6 years. (I'm 15) and I have attended DBZ tournaments,
Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments, Magic Tournaments, and a Magic JSS. Thats all about
me.

enjoy it! Today I am going to talk about crucial deck types that will be
available to us with the new release of Evo-Crushinators of
Doom.
Mana
Destruction-
With the release of Evo-Crushinators
coming up, we get a magic deck type, The ablilty to destroy mana. Certain cards
the Bolzard Dragon, Bomberzaurus, and Engineer Piipo let you destroy mana.
When Bomberzaurus, and Engineer Piipo are destroyed players are set back a turn
by having to destroy mana. With Bolzard Dragon, every time this bad boy attacks,
your opponent loses one mana.Not only red, but Green gets mana destruction
too. They have Shell Fortress, Mana Crisis. This will be crucial in
metagame, and will set many deck types back.
Rushes-
With this new set, other colors get
rush and beatdown decks. Green gets their tribal beast folk, which will be one
fast mean deck. Mainly because green is the only color with mana accerlation.
Bronze Arm Tribe and Mighty Shouter can "evolve" into Barkwhip the Smasher (two
mana for a 5000 beastfolk with the ability to have it tapped and all other
beastfolk gain +2000) Then you get the other evolution for green- Great Hero
Dual Fang. He speeds up mana by two. All colors get evolutions but for rush,
green gets the best.
Defensive-
Here is an interesting one; with the
release of Diamond Cutter, lights blockers become twice as nasty. This combo
even works in a water/light deck. All blockers the can't attack or can't attack
players, now becomes no problem. Diamond cutter lets a player ingnore the "this
creature cannot attack players" or "this creature cannot attack". So that Gran
Gure just become more leathal. All your creatures do. I personally think that
this is going to be a top deck, if built
right.
Beatdown-
Blue has now become a beatdown color
thanks to Crystal Lancer. Everyone running blue runs four Aqua Hulcus. So
evolving will be no problem. Blue also gets the ability to look at sheilds.
Since all evolution creatures are not affected by summoning sickness, Crystal
Lancer is an unblockable, 8000 power, double breaker. Enough said! That one
creature alone is viable enough to make a deck around. Now add in King Nautilus
and he makes a mono-blue beatdown a tier one deck. Now with King Nautilus all
liquid people become unblockable. Thats enough to decimate all opponents.
