Reviews:Holy Awe-Fish and Chips"
Hello, we are Fish and Chips trying out our idea for
reviewing Duel Masters cards. This is not a rip-off of Pojo's Card of the Day.
Their ideas have no effect on ours. We also want to say that we are not
"competing" with Pojo's Card of the Day. We also did our reviews separately, so
both of our reviews express our opinions only. Now to the actual reviews.
Holy Awe
#6/110 Base Set
Card type: Spell
Mana Cost: 6
Card Affinity: Light
Card Effect:
Shield Trigger(When
this card is put into your hand from the shield zone, you may cast it
immediately for no cost.)
Tap all your opponent's creatures in
the battle zone.
Fish's
Review
Well,
our first card review would be Holy Awe of the Base Set, and a good way to start
our card reviews too, as this is one of the best cards in the game so far.
What else can you say about a card that can annihilate your opponent?
This card has so many uses it's not funny(actually it sort of is). Tapping all
of your opponent's creatures allows you to (a) destroy them all or (b) attack
your opponents shields, possibly destroying him/her. It's also a Shield Trigger,
which can save your butt from attack and leave your opponent open as well. The
only problem is that it costs 6 mana to play, as if that was a major problem.
Both Chips and I have at least 1 of this card in our decks and it really helps
out. You can laugh in the face of various light type cards such as Urth,
Purifying Elemental and Toel, Vizier of Hope. I recommend running at least 2
Holy Awe if your deck contains any Light cards.

Chips'
Review
This
card is very good! It is a spell card that taps all of your opponent's
creatures, leaving the creatures or the player open to attack from almost any
creature you have. It's also a Shield Trigger! The only problem is that it takes
a lot of mana.
Final Thought: 4.5 out of 5
