To start this is not intended to be a bash on any members of the DM staff at pojo's. This is intended to be a tip to new players.

Hello. This is my second installment of tips. Yay. Anyway, theres a tip in here... somewhere. LOL. For starters, Id like to clear something up. Christine Gerhardt should NOT steer you in the wrong direction. Deathliger is not worthy of any existant number out of 5, let alone a higher rating than Crystal Lancer. BTW, Crystal Lancer is NOT as good as Laguna, Lightning Enforcer. Anyway on to the tips.


             Today I will be taking a look at 5 of the Super Rares from the Base Set. (Ill be doing this until I comment on all of them.) So lets cut to the chase.

Hanusa, Radiance Elemental- Sure hes big......but, Hes not good. At all. Dont use it. Well.... only if you need filler in a Mono Light deck, but even then.... dont. Bad. 1/10

Urth- Well, its a start. Its better then Hanusa. But its still isnt too good. It used to be, but Evo changed that. Hes mediocre. Death Smoke eats him. 4/10

Aqua Sniper- Well. He was very good, but his gone downhill a bit. He still very usable, but slightly less then the Pre Evo environment. Bouncing two creatures can help a lot, but 5000 for 8 is a bit much. Would be SO much better if he were a double breaker.
Oh well.   6.5/10 iguess.

King Depthcon- Ahh the Pre Crystal Lancer. He is very good dont get me wrong, but Crystal Lancer outshines him a bit. 6000 Unblockable Double Breaker is still very good. Especially for 7. I like him, I guess. Some people like him better than Lancer, because he doesnt require evolution. While this is true, I still prefer the Lancer.
Still a good card.  8.5/10

Scarlet Skyterror- To finish the day, we have Scarlet Skyterror. He can be DEVASTATING in the right hands and deck. Seriously. Dont let the 3000 for 8 fool you, he can come in really handy. He kills all Blockers, plain and simple. The only problem is, a majority of the gamewinning decks that are around now dont use a single blocker. Sad truth. But those that do usually run a LOT. Diamond Cutter decks will sometimes run ALL BLOCKERS. This is when Scarlet Skyterror has fun. o.o
Good card.        7/10
