Now to the
tournament.
My first match was against
this big tall guy. He was kind of intimating, but I wasn’t scared. He
played a Light deck with tons of blockers.
The first duel wasn’t long. He got
out a 3 mana 5000 attack evolution creature and a lot of blockers. Then he
played diamond cutter and killed me.
The second duel was close. I had him
down to one shield and he had me down to one shield. He had his 3 mana
5000 attack evolution creatures out and I hade Xeno Mantis and Fighter
Duel Fang. He attacked my first shield if it wasn’t a good shield trigger
effect it was over. So I picked up the shield. Natural Snare, so I cast it
and send the monster that could attack still back to his mana zone. I
attacked him next turn to win.
The third duel was down to the wire
again. He had 7 blockers out and I had 9 monsters. All he needed was
diamond cutter. That turn he played logic cube and searched for his only
1. Luckily for me it was in his shield zone. When he passed his turn
I attacked his shields, which he had only 1 of after he blocked my first 7
attacks. I won a close one and moved into the second
round.
The Second match was against a
little kid. It was only one game so I had to win it. I got a nice starting
hand. I got 2 poisonous mushrooms, 1 Burning Mane, and a Barkwhip. I drew
a tornado flame so I played it in my mana zone. The next few turns went as
you could expect with that kind of had I summoned monsters and got
Barkwhip out. It was over in about turns. It would have been quicker, but
the summoning sickness stalled me.
The next match was the final against
the guy that always wins. He put the most money into the game so far and
that got him a nice deck. He ran a pure nature deck that steamrolled me
quick. All I got was some weak fire monsters and he summoned strong
monsters quick because he had lots of mana.
