Subject: Dragons Fury Tournament Report Comic Asylum Robby Stewart

Hey pojo! Robby here, with yet another tournament report. i changed my deck up even more, and it turned out well, so here it is!

Well last week i din do so hot, infact i got friggin wooped. i din win a single game all day! but i guy a i lost too gave me a great tip to add water, and then i decided to add the darkness. i want to add 4 locomotivers but currently i have none.

These were the most intense games i have ever played, every game had me thinking on my toes, and if i won it was a satisfying victory, but if i lost

i wasn't too sad, because it was a great duel.

well the turnout was unfortunatly 10 people because about 10 of the other players couln't play because the yugioh tournament wasn't over. blegh.

my friend andre was at the tournie as well so i will keep trac of his record.

Game 1-
Dragons ( Me ) vs Green/Black/Blue Control ( Andre ) DAMNIT first round i had to play my effing friend. DAMNIT

Duel 1-
Well andre's hand control was tearing me to shreds. He just pwns me this duel, and i can't do much because he hits every low mana card i got , and all i am stuck with is high level mana, and he makes quick work of me. His cryptic totem hit a terror pit of mine and i had no shield trigger so it was

over.

Duel 2-
This was a total opposite. I got coco lupia out turn 3, then bolzard dragon turn 4 and since i went first, bolzard mana locked him. That is one of my favorite combo, he was stuck with 4 mana for the entire duel, and on turn 5 i pull out a bolmeteus dragon, by then i knew it was over, he din have the mana to kill either of my monsters. so bolmeteus and bolzard tore him apart this game no contest.

Duel 3-
closest duel i've ever had. we were constantly changing control. Towards the

end of the game, i had no shields and he had all 5. well i have like 4 monsters, and he's got none. he keeps top decking monsters, but my bazagazeal takes em out. at that time i start slowly attacking his shields.
During this he lost souled my hand two friggin times. just about when i thought i was about to pull the victory he lost souled. it was total crap, but i knew at the point it was gonna be in the next two turns who would win.

well during this entire time. he's only got 1 shiled left thanks to his mana

nexus' he lost some mana and he put a locomotiver in his shileds. so he summons two monsters, but it din matter, i won because i had corile and aqua

hulcus on the filed for the victory. when i won though, i only had 3 cards left in my deck.

Crap that was close.

Andre 0-1 matches, 1-2 games

Game 2-

Dragons ( Me ) vs Survivors ( David )

Duel 1-
well david just beat montey eads and he was pretty phyced. so i wasn't too happy about that. well first game i had a horrible mana curve, it waas bad.
even by turn 6 when i could play stuff, he still incredibly owned me.

Duel 2-
well i am able to get bolmeteus out turn 5, and make quick work of his shields, and take the victory.

Duel 3-
he draws like no green mana, and burns his hand pretty quickly, and the too shileds he hits they are both shileds trigger, a terror pit and a proclomation of death. well turn 4 i get out bolzard dragon, and limit his mana serverly, and take a pretty quick win.

well this one was probably the easiest duel i did all friggin day.

Me 2-0 matches, 4-2 games.
Andre 1-1 matches, 3-3 games.

Game 3

Dragons ( Me ) vs Mono Water ( out of towner ) this guy drove an hour and a half to play here. and apparently he has won two invitationals. i din know this prior to our match so i just thought it'd

be another duel.

Duel 1-
i dominate this entire game pretty much, i get a turn 5 bolmeteus, and thena

turn 6 bolmeteus. so it was over fairly quickly.

Duel 2 -
well it's a pretty comfortable duel, but i've never played mono water, so i was just getting the jist of the deck. Of course me being stupid and a little hasty did not read a certain card that untaps after a shiled trigger is used, so i got owned by that little guy that quickly took all of my shields.

Duel 3-
this is actually a really close duel, and a well timed lost soul i thought gave me the game, but i had no shields, and i thought my blocker would save me, but a well timed crystal lancer won him the game.

Game 4!

Dragons ( me ) vs Mono Darkness ( out of towners friend ) this was the friend of the guy that i just lost too, he has also won invitationals.

Duel 1-
well he gets some guy that discards cards from my hand by tapping him, and he lets all other darkness creatures tap instead of attacking, luckily i killed it off, and multiple well timed sering waves, set me straight for the

win. and once again i had zero shields when i won. by the time i won i barely had 3 cards left in my deck. i think i should really increase my deck

number a bit.

Duel 2-
well he gets that guy out like turn 5 and demolishes my hand. he attacks a shiled then makes me discard, it was a damn good combo. So he took this game

easily. i think he still had all 5 shields

Duel 3-
another close one, he brings that guy out again. But after a turn i am able to control it. Lost soul takes out 4 cards from his hand, and puts us at about even. so bazagazeal does his dirty work and destroyes really anythign he can bring out. by then end of the game i got like 8 monsters out and it was over. i had 3 cards left in my deck again!

phew!

Andre 3-1 matches, 6-4 games

FINALS!-
well i go in as 4th place for some strange reason, when a 2-2 person goes in

as second, well i get stuck facing andre in the first round but heres who made it into finals.

Game 1!
Dragons ( me ) vs Blue/Black/Green Control ( andre )

Duel 1-
this duel takes forever, by the time me and andre finish this game, david had already lost to the out of towner. well this game is much like our dule
3 from round 1. the control of the board and who has more cards was constantly switching. he kills off all my bolmeteus' so that's not good, so i start to bazagazael him. just hitting two a turn as to not give him whole lot of advantage. so i got two cards left in my deck when i finally slowly pull out the win. o and the whole time pretty much, i think i may have had one shield or no shields i can't quite remember.

Duel 2-
this game is much quicker as andre's hand control hits exactly what it needs

to and luck isn't on my side of the duel. so he makes quick work with fighter dual fang, i stall pretty much for like a turn, but his draw power kicked in amd gave him everything he needed to beat me.

Duel 3-
the out of towner had been watching our game since the end of duel one, and been saying he din know which one he wanted to face. all of our games had been somewhat close and down to wire. so it gets down to it, and it's like duel 1 all over again, my draw power is saving my butt though. cuz his hand control was hurting me, but my draw power put me in the game. so by the end of the duel i have about like 8 monsters and it's over. close as effing hell

though i about crapped a brick.

Finals!
Game 2!

Dragons ( me ) vs Mono Water ( out of towner ) this guy had gone undefeated all day, even beat me, so i was in for a match i would never forget.

Duel 1-
this duel is fairly close, he kept hitting my shields so face fast, i could barely keep up with his pace of the duel. He kept hitting shields, and i had

a ginourmous hand. Finally i am able to kick him off when i have no shields with a searing wave. and i gain a little bit of control, but he evolves into

crystal lancer and owns me.

Duel 2-
this goes in my favor, and searing wave once again saves me, that is why it is my mvc of the day. i can't remember all of the duel, but i remember getting an early bolmeteus and hitting a few shields, and i some how won this game.

Duel 3-
this is the closest game i ever had, closer than andre's. He takes early early lead, and puts me down to no shields, just like duel one, but this time he din get draw power and had 1 card left. well i have some hulcus' and

corile and i think one lupia on the field, and he's got 4 monsters. Well i searing wave, and i gain the control. well he draws and summons out two monster, all i have in my hadn are

Coco Lupia
Bazagazeal Dragon
Bolmeteus' Steel Dragon
Lost Soul

well i draw into energy stream, and i know there is only one card in my deck

that can save me because i have exactly 8 mana. Searing Wave. i tell him i only got one chance, so i draw my two cards, first card is crap and second card is..........................................................................

WAVE. my spirits soard when i drew that card, because he had no hand and i had a big one. so i had field and hand advantage now. After that move vicotry was almost solidified, my coco lupia bazagazeal combo worked like a charm, when he din summon i monster out i played out bolmeteus, but he spiral gated it. He almost wins though. He plays out a thrash crawler, and brings a aqua gaurd to his hand. he has a crystal paladin in his hand, on his next turn he was gonna play that out for the win. i lost souled his hand, because i thought he had something, and someone was like that's the smartest move i've ever seen u play. and the turn after that i had three coco lupia two coriles two hulcus' two bolmeteus and a bazagazeal on the field. I won. i could barely believe it.

well the only person this guy lost to all day was me. And andre only lost to

me all day as well. i never caught there names but they were nice guys, i got my prizes Two Apocalypse Vise Promos and two rock beast w/e there name is promos, and two packs of thundercharge. i pulled a hopless vortex and some blocker guy from it and i traded em for two apocalypse vice's for andre.
