 Saikyo Cardfighter R This thing is really fucking weird. Basically, for SB2, G-flip and a -1 to the hand, it board-wipes the opposing field (assuming there’s nothing that’s 12k power or above) and nets you an auto-Twin Drive. Dominating the Vanguard makes the attack totally unblockable: Guardians must be of equal or lower Grade than the Vanguard, but a dominated Vanguard doesn’t count as THEIR unit, so they cannot guard, nor can they fulfil the requirements of both players needing a Grade 3 to use a G Guardian. Resist also doesn’t help as it Dominates ALL Vanguards without choosing. That’s really what this is: its a way of getting rid of problem cards, fast, when Mujinlord lacks the means to push for game. With a Soulblast 2 cost it isn’t generally going to be used more than once a game, but if Counterblast isn’t open, and you can spare the hand and the soul, this is an excellent way to put pressure on. Vanguards with Lord make this cry though. 3/5 |
