[AUTO](Hand):At the beginning of your opponent’s turn, if your vanguard is “Evil Stealth Dragon Akatsuki, Hanzo”, COST [discard two cards from your hand], ride this card as [Rest], and all of your rear-guards get [Shield]+5000 until end of turn. At the end of that turn, ride a “Evil Stealth Dragon Akatsuki, Hanzo” from your soul as [Rest]. [AUTO](Soul):When your vanguard with “Hanzo” in its card name attacks, COST [retire a grade 0], call this card to (RC), and until end of turn, this unit gets [Power]+20000 and can attack from the back row. At the end of that turn, put this unit into your soul. If you put it into your soul, call an Evil Decoy token to (RC).

Okay, that is way, WAY too expensive. You basically -3 (tossing 2 cards and then going another -1 to ride Tasagore, English rules say you cannot toss Hasagore itself for the cost), then get Protect, and then…what? -2 overall to get a Protect 1, or -3 to get a Protect 2, which doesn’t even help against mass murder decks like Narukami. The shield buff even after the minuses is just not worth it, and what’s worse is that although at the end of the turn you’d get Hanzo OG back and thus another Protect…wouldn’t you want that second Protect while the opponent was still attacking you, not when it’s over?

Second skill does have SOME utility as it can generate an attacker once it’s in the soul (probably through riding OG Hanzo on top of Tasagore because seriously, the first skill is just bleh, unless you’re THAT desperate), by giving you a 32k beater with no effort if you can spare the G0.

Kind of terrible, and also slow if you don’t want to minus badly. And right now, the ability to do stuff as soon as you hit G3 is vital. Compliments old Hanzo, but that doesn’t mean Hanzo is a good deck.
