The sum of Rescue’s efforts. First skill is not one I’m fond of. I don’t like diminishing returns as I said previously, but for what it’s worth it doesn’t require counterblasting and so this can actually open damage back up for combos later in the game. What you really want this for is the field filling on-attack. Well, it also has a bit more utility in multi-attacking too, but there’s a problem. Sure it creates columns with 3k for each rear-guard called, but it’s one of those cards where you need to be losing for best effect. It’s also not entirely efficient: sure, one call for one face-down damage afterwards is fair, but when plonked onto a G Unit who’s supposed to act as your big finisher, or failing that a clutch catch-up tool? No.

Don’t really care if Angel Feather revolves around recharging counterblast, this could be more efficient.

The first skill essentially lets you Countercharge with the chance of hitting a trigger ability.  If you call face-up cards for the second skill, it essentially costs two Counterblasts.  However, if you Counterblast strategically, the skill more or less becomes free.  So be smart, play smart, and your returns won’t be too bad.

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  To wrap up our Angels Week, we’re going to have a look at the newest G Unit for Angel Feathers: Gavrail Eden.  The great thing that I can think about at first glance is that, unlike its previous G Unit counterpart in Seraph Gavrail, Eden isn’t GB reliant, so you can use her as a first Stride and get early field presence if you’re Damage Zone complies for good call cards along with a free Rescue 1 all on first Stride.  I think the only real drawback about Eden is that any cards that she places into the Damage Zone from her on-attack skill are put face-down, so you’ll lose a heavy amount of Counterblast if this is used mid to late game, but to be fair, Angel Feathers have a great way to get faceup damage via Rescue Checks or either of their two GB Stand Triggers.  Play it smart with her, and she will reward you handsomely.
