Hello Pojo Fans,

Fiendsmith’s Tract is your RoTA for your RoTA Fiendsmith.

Put a LIGHT Fiend into your hand and then discard a card. For the Fabled monster you search off this, that will give you a free Special Summon. If you have the Fabled you need, search Engraver. If you don’t have Tract, you simply discard Engraver to search it. Because of its use in the Fiendsmith Toolbox, Tract can set up your graveyard for almost anything.

Tract in the Graveyard is a Fiendsmith Fusion Spell. With two targets now to choose from, this is just an extra fusion ability alongside tomorrow’s Link Monster. With that ability (and tomorrow’s monster effect) there isn’t a need to play any Fusion Spell cards in the deck.

Double threat type of card that is numerous in the game now. Every archetype tends to have a Spell that does a grave thing to make it exceptionally useful. Tract will search whatever you want and can set up your grave at the same time, then be used on the same turn as a Fusion Spell. This toolbox…

Fiendsmith, while being a good Rank 6 engine, is also good LIGHT Fiend support thanks to a card like Fiendsmith’s Tract.

Tract is a Normal Spell that lets you add any LIGHT Fiend from your Deck to the hand, and then discard a card. The simple combo is to search for and discard Fabled Lurrie so you can revive it and go into Fiendsmith’s Requiem to get to an Engraver from the Deck and get the engine live. Besides that, there’s some other nice uses. A good chunk of the Fabled archetype is searchable off this, alongside all of the Magical Musketeer cards. Stun also could search for Majesty’s Fiend if they wanted, which is nice. The graveyard effect lets you banish it to Fusion Summon any Fiendsmith Fusion by using materials from your hand or field. Better when Lacrima was legal since that doesn’t need a lot of materials, and it revives your Fiendsmith monsters for plays, but that didn’t last long. You could summon Desirae, but that’s very resource costful when you got a better way to do that. Each effect is a HOPT. Tract is important to the Fiendsmith package for its access to Lurrie, but it’s better if your Deck is dedicated to using LIGHT Fiend monsters. Play 1 in the engine, use more in Decks like Fabled or Magical Muskets.

If Fiendsmith Engraver is the heart of the engine, Fiendsmith’s Tract is the liver! Tract is a Normal Spell with two simple hard once per turn effects, and obviously you can (and will) search it with Fiendsmith Engraver. Tract’s first effect on activation will simply search any LIGHT Fiend, then discard one card. They might be telling you to search Engraver, but the de facto target after searching Tract with Engraver is The Fabled Lurrie, an unlikely player in the engine that can be immediately discarded to be summoned with its own effect. Other than Lurrie, Magical Musketeer decks can search pretty much their entire archetype, and of course you can grab any other Fableds once their new support arrives. Tract’s other effect lets you banish it from your Graveyard and Fusion Summon a Fiendsmith Fusion monster using materials from your hand or field. Tragically, it specifies monsters, so ironically you can’t use your Fiendsmith Links as Equip Spells, but at least Fiendsmith Fusion materials are fairly forgiving so it shouldn’t be a huge issue, especially if Lurrie is around. Tract is a simple but very strong card; you won’t see the Fusion effect too often, but its versatility in any deck that wants to search a LIGHT Fiend and its ability to grab Lurrie make it a staple. You technically only need 1 copy, but more doesn’t hurt since even in an emergency getting to Engraver is a good thing too.

+Searches a variety of useful LIGHT Fiends in multiple decks
-Can’t fuse using Fiendsmith Links as Equip Spells
-Discard can be slightly annoying if you aren’t searching Lurrie
