The other VRAINS related card this weekend is a retrain of Playmaker’s Link-5 he got to defeat Bohman, basically getting its attack name in the card name to become Firewall Dragon Darkfluid – Neo Tempest Terahertz.
Neo Tempest Terahertz is a Link-5 DARK Cyberse with 3000 ATK and arrows pointing Up, Left, Right, Bottom Left, and Bottom Right. Basically, it’s all the same traits from the original Firewall Dragon Darkfluid, which is fine. It takes 3+ Cyberse monsters to summon, so the summoning conditions remain the same and it’s not hard to pull off. It negates any monster effects activated by the opponent during the Battle Phase, which is a solid effect and shades of the original benefiting from using its monster negate effect during the Battle Phase. You got a Quick Effect with a HOPT clause to send a Cyberse monster from your Deck or Extra Deck to the graveyard to have this monster gain that monster’s Attribute and 2500 ATK. Having multiple Attributes on a monster is always interesting, and a pernament 2500 ATK boost can really start adding up when you can use this effect multiple times to get all 6 Attributes on it, creating a gigantic 15500 ATK body. I doubt you’ll ever get that high of ATK, since this can attack monsters a number of times up to the number of Attributes it has, basically ensuring a ton of damage dealt to the opponent. Darkfluid 2.0 here feels like an easier way to finish the game vs the original, though the original had a better negation effect. Both Darkfluids are fine, but each serves a different purpose, and this is to finish the game at a lightning fast pace.

Art: 5/5 So of course the name is based on the attack name, and the art is basically Firewall Dragon Darkfluid pre attack. The Attribute effect is based off all 6 Ignis, letting it gain the other 5 Attributes since the Dark Ignis was the one that dueled alongside Playmaker and therefore used this.
