Oh dear-ssyeus, we never actually reviewed Odysseus before, have we? Well, behold the engine that was the ORIGINAL Stride-deny scum deck. What a time it was, to learn that as soon as you denied the opponent their favourite toys, their deck stopped being top-tier and instead became overly glorified shiny cardboard. I mean sure, it was always that, but people hate to think, as you know. They’d rather make shitty decisions than actually think about why they’re even playing. Or existing, in general.

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  As longtime WL fans know, I have a very distinct hatred for one clan in particular: Aqua Force.  Most of that anger is namely for that traitorous CardfightKing, whom betrayed the beloved pirates for the…*clears throat*…”Aqua Lyfe baby”…god, I feel dirty just quoting that…anyway, today’s card is mostly responsible for the intense Ripple Rush Deck a couple of years back that let you stay on Grade 2 continuously thanks to superior reriding over and over again making Sebreeze unuseable and almost all of your opponent’s GB reliant decks obsolete and easy to punish.  Odysseus is known to be a cancerous card for being so easily exploitable that it is still restricted to two in a deck to this day, and the reason isn’t pretty valid as his skill is an incredible Ride Chain fixer that sets up the swarm combos that the Ripples have.  Unfortunately, Ripples aren’t exactly used these days as their worst matchups can swarm just as hard without being too reliant on striding, which is why Ripples aren’t seen often anymore, but that doesn’t stop Odysseus here being a staple for deck thinning in the archetype.  With that being said, only play this in Ripples…for obvious reasons…
