Flip 7 Card Game

Flip 7 is a new Press-Your-Luck card game from Eric Olsen and The Op Games.  Flip 7 is a breeze to learn, and fun to play.  Flip 7 plays well with small and large groups.  You can play this with up-to 18 people straight out the box!

What’s in the box?

What’s in the box?

This box is small and portable, measuring at 8″ x 6″ x 1″.  The box contains one large deck of 94 cards.  The cards are sturdy and have a nice linen finish.  You also get a small, well-written Rulebook.

There are 96 cards in Flip 7.

How to play Flip 7

It’s a race to 200 points.  Each round, you and your opponents take turns flipping cards from the top of the deck and adding them to your hands. The 12 is worth 12 points, the 11 is worth 11 points, and so on.  If you draw two of the same “number card” into your hand, you bust, and you get zero points that round.

The deck has a little twist to it: there’s only one 1, two 2’s, three 3’s, and so on. This means strategically planning your flips becomes crucial.  12’s are worth a lot of points, but there are a lot of 12’s making it easier to bust once you have one in your hand.

If you are lucky enough to Flip 7 cars into your hand without busting, you score an additional 15 bonus points that round.

Pulling off a perfect Flip 7!

Special Cards: The X-Factor

The core mechanic is fun, but extra excitement comes from the special cards sprinkled throughout the deck. These can force your opponent to Take Three cards, or Freeze their hand, or even give you a Second Chance if you bust.  Special Cards add a chaotic element, keeping every round unpredictable.
